Chimistry .com account compromised Internet

I am a dissatisfied once active member of Chimistry.com. I joined the service after several months of not having great sucess with  Match.com. It is my understanding that the 2 companies have a working relationship. The bad expereince that I encountered on Match.com was that many of the profiles where not the same men presnted on the the profile picture page. The profile pictuire indicated that the men were ffrom one state, however as communicaion continued to find out that the ages and states identified was not valid information. Match.com was only given permission upfront to sign me up for only 30 days, however I came to find out that they withdrew 6 months cost from my account with being granted permission. Match.com did not own up to this issue after it was presented. Following the just mentioned incident, I asked that they remove me from their account, needless to say they would not remove me, I continued to recieve multiple men of interest, winks, etc. to again find out that the men were of poor caliber.

I later decided to give chemistry.com a 30 day trail. After being a member for 1 week, I come to find out that I am unable to access my account using my email and password. When I tried to access my account, a profile came up with as a male profile with none ofmy  information noted on the profile page. I had to repeat signing in again based on the fact that I thought that it was a typing error on my behalf. I tried changing my password, however it would not allow me to change my password.

I contacted customer service by way of email because there was no direct phone number that allowed you to speak with someone directly. As I chated with the representative, she tried to access my account without success. I was informed that there was no email address matching my initial email used to access the site. She then asked that I place my payment card information in to verify my account. After about 20 minutes she informed me that my account was comprimised. I asked her, please explain what that means? The representative informed me that my email address, password, pictures and visa payment method was comprimised. This information that she shared with me began to cause me to be concerned. She began to inform me that the company takes issues like this serious and a investigation would take place, however I could not be privy to any of the findings. I again expressed an interest to know more about the personal information that was hacked from my account, I asked to speak with a higher level administrator. The representative indicated that the communication is only through email and not direct phone communication. She began to inform me that the 1 month payment would be placed back into my account and I had the opportunity to openanother account using a different name, email, password and charge card. I was appaud that this was the way my issue was handled.

I highly recommend that this company be throughily investigated due to their poor operational propcesses. I felt that the representative did not respect my voiced concerns, she treated the issue as if this type of issue happens on a regular bases. Why would I want to try the site again under different personal information. The site is not to be trusted.
