Concession Carts Company /Sabastian Escalada I'll Get the Last Laugh! Stupid is as Stupid Does Mr. E-SCAM-LADA! Jackson Michigan

I purchased a concession trailer from Sabastian Escalada at the end of February, 2013 for $6000.00.   I paid $230.00 to have it delivered to my home in Dayton, Ohio.  My first event was the first week of May which gave me time to buy a trailer hitch and have it installed, have the health inspector come out to inspect the trailer (the water pump worked then) and get my license, get my license plate, battery for the  water pump, 2 propane tanks, battery charger etc. etc.  First problem the water pump didn't work.  Then it did.  Then it didn't. 

I called Sabastian and he blew me off.  Next I noticed when it rained there would be water in a puddle on a shelf which ran down acrossed the floor and the floor was getting rust spots and I still can't find out where the water is leaking from.  My first event in May got rained out and I didn't have another one until June 8th.  The water pump was working again.  June 8th, got to my first event.  I spent over $1000.00 for supplies and food not to mention the $225.00 festival fee.  After I got set up and was ready to start selling food,  the health inspector came to inspect.  He asked me to turn on the water pump and guess what?  Ready?  The water pump didn't work, wouldn't work, couldn't work.  He had to shut me down.  I had to load everything back up and go home.  Lost the $225.00 and have a freezer crammed with 600 smoked sausages and other variaties, same amount of buns, 20 cases of drinks, 4 cases of chips etc. etc.  In between the May event that got cancelled and the June event that I had to leave due to the water pump, I had called Sabastian several times about several issues.  Water leak, floor gettting rust spots due to the water leak, hinge on the door is now rusted along with several screw that are rusted with dripped down rust stains.  The built in cooler in NOT insulated because the ice melted so fast that it was completely melted by the time I got home from the festival I had to leave. 

I called Sabatian and told him about the water pump.  I said I wanted him to send someone to fix it.  He refused.  He said I had to drive all the way to Ann Arbor or pay him for the gas to send someone.  I said that was not acceptable.  I told him the warranty was for that purpose.  He still refused so I told him I was not happy with all the things that were wrong and the little things I was noticing that makes me sure that he sold me a used trailer not a brand new one.  He refused again and said I had to come to Ann Arbor.  This is my first trailer.  I bought the smaller one so I could handle it myself since I had never pulled a trailer in my life.  I told him that and that driving that far was not possible.  I reminded him again of my warranty and told him I had already paid $230.00 to have it delivered and was not paying another dime for him to come here, me to drive there or any other hair brained scheme he had.  He won't answer his phone so here I am with a freezer full of food, lost money and a trailer that I can't use unless I get it repaired myself.  This is only the beginning.  I will not let him get by with this.  After reading all the other complaints it makes me sick that this jerk is ripping people off an is still in business.  He doesn't reall get who he's dealingwith.  I'm not wimp material.  This is WAR!!
