I was contacted by a woman identifying herself as a loan consultant by the name of Lynette Barns who stated I was approved for a secure loan at 7.75% and would have to give a collateral deposit of $450.00 towards loan of $8,000.00 sent me a contract and then had me wire the money western union to an investor by the name of Brenda Benson in Canada. Ms Barns told me my money would be direct deposited between 8 am to 12 noon the following day. Then I receive a call again from Lynette Barns telling me a mistake was made in the wording of the contract and she failed to mention $1,200.00 is needed for insurance on the loan and that point I said I did not want to go forward with the loan because I did not have that type of money and this is the reason why applied for a loan in the first place. This lady Lynette Barns begin rattling off a lot of stuff pertaining to the loan document and then informs me I will not be refined my money until 5/11/2017 via direct deposit. I have not spoken to her since then and have tried calling back the number and have left several messages and no one has even called me back.
