Conn's Appliance This company should be called "Con's" San Antonio Texas

Back in November 2008, I gave Conn's a posted dated check. Somehow I forgot and then I called in with a debit card payment to the same date.

The rep I spoke with was nice enough to call me back to ask me if I wanted to apply both payments for that due date. I said no and she told me that they would credit my debit card.

Then they automatically ran my post dated check which caused several overdrafts. I called customer service and it really seems I have to speak to several reps and they all say something different.

They asked me to fax a copy of the check that they cashed along with the bank transaction showing the two overdrafts. Months went by with me calling and calling until sometime early this year one of the reps

said to me that on the notes it read that they could not understand what I faxed to them. To this day I do not know exactly what it was they did not understand. They want me to start the process again.

I will be doing that for sure. Then in June 09, they kept calling me about the payment due for that month. I told them that we would be paying off the full balance of $4,301.00 but the rep insisted me give him another post dated check for 07/01/09 which I did. (Mistake again).

On 06/25/09 we went to the Conn's store and I gave them a check in the full amount to payoff the balance. With so much going on I forgot to call them to cancel that post dated check. Well, the check for the

balance payoff went through and then the post dated check was cashed also. On 07/08/09 I faxed them copies of the checks and the bank transaction history and they said that I would have my post dated

amount put back into my checking account within 7-10 business days. I have been calling over and over and all they say is that it is in review. One of the reps even blamed it on me. I honestly do not know wherelse to turn.
