Conroe Appliance Repair (C.A.R) started out as a professional company. The problem was with a Whirlpool top loader washer approximately 4-5 years old that the start button was found to be broken. The tech Brandon Eakins diagnosed the problem and attempted to fix it with super glue with my understanding that it could last forever or temporally not a problem we have new baby in the house and we needed the washer. The tech was very helpful .That very day Brandon made the repair the button broke lasting one load. CAR was called immediately to order the part a message was left with no response for 2 days.

On Friday I called left another message. A call was returned according to Brandie CAR wanted to come out again to diagnose the existing problem however their repairman had already done so on the initial visit, taking down the information knowing it was a possible temporary fix. My calls were not returned according to Brandie was because they were looking for the part in black she told me my only choice was white because black was obsolete. That was fine. I had to pay for the part first for CAR to order it.

According to Whirlpool that (black) part is available for $ 199.00 and some change and the item is in stock. That was the first lie. About 4-5 days later Brandon installs the (white) part which I agreed however after installation the control board is not working the machine was getting power I was not home at the time my 22 year old son was now there was NO paper work left by the repairman about the warranty on the new part because he had none and no paper work about the new problem, the only thing he left was his business card.

My son told me that according to Brandon it was the control board. I called CAR and left a message on Thursday and 3 times on Friday with no response. On Monday I called again the call was answered by Brandie who had NO idea about what was going on after being placed on holdI was told that the repairman had left me a write up about the problem with my washer that there was a burning smell. This was lie # 2. There was not ANY written documentation left by Brandon he left his business card that was it. 

There was not any information about the new part or its warranty.  Why did the technician leave the washing machine plugged in if there was a burning smell which by the way it was plugged in all weekend? If there was a burning smell when did this occur and why did I not smell it when I came home that day he made the second repair? Why am I getting the run around about picking up this part I cant use and where is my refund?  This company has other names affiliated with it such as Appliance Part Solutions as well as other addresses.
