Conseco Finance ripoff screwed others too Arlington Texas

Purchased a new manufactured home in 1995 from Greentree Finance. There were never any problems with this company. We get notified that Conseco Finance purchased this company, and all hell broke loose.

Anytime you are late on a payment, sometimes you aren't they will call your family members and give them complete loan history, including telling them to tell you they will be at your location the next morning to repossess home.

After having car accident last year and going through difficult times, Conseco has completely harrassed us to no end calling several times a day. Thank God for this website, I will tell other consumers to check a company out here before purchasing anything.

. In March knowing that the payment needed to be paid again for the previous months, I sent two payments.

After these were done I spoke with an Eric there and he said the account was current till April 15th. April 28th we received a certified letter stating "Notice Of Acceleration And Request To Vacate"

This was on a Friday. Monday morning I called Conseco to find out what was going on. Chad informed me we defaulted on the payment. After furthering questioning, he informed me we were two months behind. I replied that we were not. He said they never got a payment in February. They had. I have proof.

After this was done I asked if we could extend one payment. Chad said we could not because we had made a three month extension in October of last year. We have never made an extention during the term of this loan.

After reading all the other reports about this company and the
deceptive practices that they have done on our account I am ready to tell them to come get their home. We don't want it anyway!!!!
