Consolidated Media Services ripoff and also gave or sold my information to other companies consumer fraud ripoff Atlanta Georgia

In November, 2001, I signed up with CMS to begin a magazine subscription service. In about two months, I began getting my magazines, plus about 6-7 other magazines which I did not want. i called to try to cancel them, but they said that the magazines were "complimentary" and therefore I couldn't cancel them.

About 3-4 months ago, I began getting daily calls from companies claiming to be my "magazine company" or "the company that handles my magazine subscriptions" or "the company that sends my my magazines." Immediately, they attempt to sell me an "extension" to my contract. When I refuse, they connect me with their supervisor, who attempts to sell me the same contract i had just gotten done refusing.

These people are very rude when I tell them no, and have hung up on me several times, just because I wouldn't purchase an additional extension. We have caller ID, and we get calls from "unknown name, unknown number" at least 4-5 times daily. How can I get this harrassment to stop? These companies won't give me an exact name, or, if they do, it is just mumbled so that it is not understandable. I just want this to stop.
