Consumer  affairs  is a  agency  that  consumers  can  file a  complaint with  and they would publish your  complaint  or you can answer another consumer  complaint by  replying to this complaint. i read another consumer complaint about  starkiss  solid white tuna.he was  say  how  nasty  the   product  taste  and he  wanted to  know  why. i  was trying to  tell him that  the   white  solid tuna  was  not  real  tuna but  was  a fish not  real tuna.i saw  this  on the  New on TV one night and  i was  very  up set  about  this.  consumer  affair refuse to  publish the  truth about  this  on their web site.it  look  as  if  consumer affair is  trying  to  cover up the  truth about this.you got  all these  peoples  on the  consumers  affair  web site asking question as to why the  solid  white  do not  taste  the  same.I know why because i  saw   it   on the  news on tv one night,The  tuna fish  companys  was  replacing real tuna  for a fish i do not rember the name of the  fish they was  puting into cans and tell consumers  that  it was  real solid  white  tuna.

consumer  affair should  not be  trying to  cover  up this lie  and let  other consumers  know  about this if they do  not  know.i though  they  stood for the  truth been  said  but  after turning  down 3 of  my complaints  and  refusing to  publish this  on their web site ,i  think this  is  wrong by them,

Solid White  Tuna  is Not Real Tuna

here is the  report  it the white solid tuna  that is fake.it taste  like saw dust with mayo on it.I saw it  on the News on TV   and  i i do  not  buy it  no  more you can eat all  you  want but not me.

consumerreports.org/cro/magazine-archive/2011/december/food/fake-fish/overview/index.htm

It seems that “white tuna” should be avoided in particular as “84% of fish samples labeled “white tuna” were actually escolar, a fish that can cause prolonged, uncontrollable, oily anal leakage.”

Fish mislabeling widespread in U.S. and 84% of 'white tuna'  is a species which causes distressing gastrointestinal side effects

  • 59 percent of  fish sold as 'tuna' in restaurants and grocery stores is not actually  tuna

Perhaps it was because of your "facts"...

AUTHOR: Robert - ()

According to this "RipOff" you said you posted 3 times that it was not Tuna.  Okay...but you just happen to "forget" what was the fish they actually said it was.  Perhaps that is the reason.

Per their FAQ at Stakist

Tuna labeled as "Light Meat" may contain one or more varieties of light meat species, usually Skipjack or Yellowfin tuna. Tuna labeled as “White Meat” contains Albacore tuna

Skipjack, Yellowfin and Albacore are all varieties of Tuna.

I also tried to find any "news" articles about your claims...not a single one.  Now, people did have complaints about how the size has gotten smaller, and there seems to be more liquid...but not a single article about how it is not tuna.
