I received another call from a company identifying itself as Consumer Card Services. The caller said that Experian transferred the call to them after I pressed an option expressing interest in lowering my credit cards to six percent. I have repeatedly asked these people to stop calling and indicated that I was registered with the National DNC list. Since they keep ignoring my request I decided to play along a bit. In the process I was able to obtain from the greedy representative, who thought he was talking to a good mark, the following: He identified himself as Ryan Giggs - employee ID No. 124. The number that showed up on my caller ID (a bogus number) was (407)999-8888.

He indicated the name of the company was Consumer Card Services located at 1285 Baring Blvd #297, Spark, NV 89424. He said the company's telephone number was (800)945-2000 (it turns out this number actually belongs to Chase Credit Card Services and their fraud department has been notified of the scam.)

He next tried to use a high pressure tactic to get the customer service phone number on the back of my credit card, expiration date, then figured I would dumb enough to give him my credit card number. He wanted to do one card at a time of course.

At that point I told him I just needed to check the phone number he gave me before giving him any credit card information and guess what he did - He Hung up on me. This clown got clowned and may have given his real name in the process. When you get a call like that try and play around and see how much information you can get out of the caller. They may not be aware they are actually doing telemarketing for a fraudulent operation!
