CARD SERVICES seems to be a scam as every time I speak with there reps
they are rude and only seem to want one thing , "A CREDIT CARD
NUMBER." Do not give it to them as they will not even answer there
Phone number of 775-277-0131. These people have called me many multiples of
times for about a year + and will not remove me from there call list. there sales pitch is an offer to Lower interests rates. the attitude of there Employees say's it all, There is no way that this is a legitimate company and if it is than it definitely is not doing it's business professionally.
I would suggest to everyone to Record these turkeys and post there rip off attitudes to the internet for all to understand how this alleged company does its business.

How to waste Scammer Card Services Time

AUTHOR: Tagurit - (USA)

Man the recording you did just pisses me off he says he wont remove you but he is REQUIRED TO BY LAW.

Other thing you can do is play with them and waste as much time as possible. String them along and provide

the following info.

Phone:  214 751 XXXX

Credit Card #  5414 XXXX XXXX XXXX

7290 as ssn

55010 as zip

12XX as pin

1972 as birth year..

The system on the phone will read back your balance, limit and interest rate..

Everything about this service is fake.. if you try to press 3 for an agent you will set on hold forever.. there is no agent.  Have fun.

If you want to take a different tactic on the call here is what I suggest when you get someone on the phone after pressing 1 to get the great interest rate

Good morning, this is ______.) I'm with the California Attorney General's office. I need to speak with Mr. Stephen Hamilton.

[There's no one here by that name.]

Is your office manager in please?

[Who is calling?]

________________. I'm with the Attorney General's Office.

[May I ask what this in reference to?]

I just need to ask a few  questions. Is there someone in charge with whom I can speak?

[Let me see who's available to take your call.]

Many seconds go by. . .

Them - [Hello. This is ___________________.)

How may I help you?]

________, I'm with the California Florida Attorney General's Office. I need to get in touch with Mr. Stephen Hamilton. Can you tell me how I might reach him? [Who? No, Sorry, We don't have nobody by that name.] Are you sure? It's very
important that I speak with him. [No, there's nobody by that name here.]

_________, whatever you tell me becomes part of the permanent record. Now, I'm sure that you don't want to start out on the wrong side of this thing. [I'm sorry but I don't think I can help you.]

That's too bad, ___________. I'll put you down as "non-responsive." Hopefully nothing will turn up in the investigation that implicates you.

[Brief silence . . .Indistinct voice in background, then - I think you need to call this number. This is our corporate attorney.]

That really won't help me much, will it __________? Well, I did give you a chance to get on the right side of this. Too bad really. You sound like a nice young lady/man. Uh, you don't have a criminal record or anything, do you?

Well, if you change your mind, give me a call. The number is here is _________ That's the Economic Crimes Division in East Los Angeles. You got that?

* * * * *

Oh My! I hope, after Mr. Hamilton and friends read this, that they don't start cracking wise to the next
"investigator" who calls. A rude response to a real fraud cop might just be all the impetus it takes to start a full-fledged investigation!

PacificTel Account Services 306-529-6190

AUTHOR: Tagurit - (USA)

Yep good ole "Account Services" aka "Card Services"   Guilty of robotic autodialer calls with pre-recorded messages of lowering your credit card interest rate "press 1 to take to us" "2 to be put on the do not call list"    Of course #2 never works - they don't understand nor honor any such concept as a do not call list.

This company calls cell phones and other unlisted #'s that are on the national do not call list.  But of course they are too lazy to scrub their outbound dialer against the do not call list - even though they are mandated to by Federal law.  That's because they are a SCAM.

Lastest one to hit is coming from the phone # 360-529-6190 which I have researched and confirmed is owned by PacificTel a company owned by Mr. Stephen Hamilton whose business address is listed at 12228 Venice Blvd. #559  Los Angeles CA  90066 and with a business direct line of (310) 895-0574.   This address is in the scummy apartment area of East LA.   But gee what can we expect from a low down scum line Mr. Hamilton who wants to annoy everyone and prey on the ingnorant.

As mentioned DO NOT under any circumstances provide your credit card or bank information.  If you really want to annoy them back play along.  Read your CC # or bank account wrong numerous times in a row, give them the phone # for the FBI, waste their time.
