Consumer First rip-off scam dirt bags Tampa Florida

I received in a mailer from Consumer First Bank in Tampa, Florida a gold card credit card offer for $5,000.00 for a fee of $49.00 dollars. I sent in the Fee they cashed my check which cleared on December 4, 2002, and I have yet to see a credit card. I contacted what I thought was the bank and received instead the number to Consumer First Mortgage Comany in Tampa, Florida. The operator was nice enough to tell me she has gotten over the last 5 weeks a great number of calls from people wanting their credit cards. The bank they ran my check through was Bank of America, Tampa, Florida. People check the backs of your canceled checks.
