DO NOT TRUST THESE SCAM ARTISTS
Continental Express, Inc. (1384 Essex Way, San Jose, CA) a/k/a Express Moving Company (47531 Warm Spring Blvd., Fremont, CA 94539) d/b/a Fast Lane Movers was subcontracted by Best West Movers (13659 Victory Blvd., Suite 474, Van Nuys, CA) to move my furniture from California to Pennsylvania. The movers arrived 8 hours late. Continental Express, Inc. altered documentation following them being signed to charge nearly $1,000 more for moving my furniture, then refused to unload my things from the truck when I informed them that I wanted my things back and I would not be paying the outrageous new price they were attempting to charge. The employees cursed at me and laughed at my frustration, all in front of my child. They are holding my things hostage until I pay the new price. Best West Movers advised that they could not help, despite being the company that took the initial deposit and being the company I contracted with.
Contact your local District Attorney's Office if you have dealings with these scam artists.
