I applied for a credit card some time in 7-04 through an advertisement that came to me over the internet. Continental Services called me back and stated that they needed $329.80 to process the card and that I would get some type of expense paid vacation out of the deal; plus a $2,500 line of credit. I agreed to the withdrawal. On 8-3-04 Amernet took the $329.80 out of Washington Mutual, my bank. When I heard nothing from Continental for a week after the withdrawal, I called 4 to 5 times and got a voice mail that their voice mail box was FULL When I finally did get a hold of them, I left a message and asked them to call me or mail the package; neither of which they ever did. Finally I got a hold of them again and they told me I needed to receive a package to sign and return to them before I could receive my credit card. To this date 9-10-04 I have not received any written correspondence or package from Continental Services.

Today 9-10-04, I called Amerinet at 866-869-8563, the company that withdrew the $329.80 from my bank account. I spoke with a Representative named Anana (her # is 663). She told me that she would call Continental Services. Still no one called and I told her I thought it was some sort of Internet Scam. Because I have not heard from any one, no phone or mail or anything, I told the Continental Services Representative that I wanted my $329.80 returned to my Bank account and she said NO.

I feel I have been the victim of an Internet Scam and that Continental Services is not a legitimate business. Their mail box is always full and, when you do finally get a hold of them, the Representatives just promise a correspondence package that has never arrived. Please do what you can to help me get my $329.80 back. I have a lot of medical expenses; I cannot afford this. Thank you for your assistance. I spoke with a Representative named Cindy on 9-10-04 ID #D96 I told the Continental Services Representative Cindy Rep D96 that I wanted my $329.80 returned to my Bank account and she said NO. I notified the Federal Trade Commission and any one else. Kerby
