I tried using my credit and the representative could only find two hotels to offer me in San Diego. Rates for both of the hotels were more than what was listed on the hotel's websites.

Do not use online contract signing. They will have you download Right Signature and walk you through filling out the reservation forms. You won't have a chance to review the cancellation policies.
