Cooking Club Of America Bogus Bills with items returned Elmsford New York

I have let this account expire. They sent me a "CK 14 Everything Pan Package" for $142.00 and of course it wasn't worth the money so I sent it back. I then started recieving collection notices and threatening to send it to collections. After I called about 2-3 times they promised me they recieved it and would credit my account. Then about a year later and I had been throwing away the bills I recieved a collection notice.

I called the cooking scam of america and they assured me that it was taken care of and not to worry, wait for 21 days to let it clear. I did and recieved another notice about 6 months later, again I did the same. Now after about 1.5 yrs laters I am on the phone as I type this and they are assuring me again that it is being credited and not to worry.

They did assure me that they don't use an outside collector so none of this will be on my credit report. I requested a confirmation that a credit has been put on my account and it has been cleared. She told me that she would put in a request to send me confirmation but wasn't sure if it would be done. WHAT? I'm confused again.

By the end of the call and being put on hold 3-4 times I was told that my account has been cleared and they see where I have called multiple times. I did mention that I have read about their scam on the internet and this website and she was much nicer to me and was quick to give me answers.

I'll wait a month and I'll see what happens.
