This letter is in Regards to CoolHandle & Commission Cash Codes.

I signed  up with Commission Cash Codes, CCC. who is affiliated with CoolHandle Domain Hosting Services. I was Offered as part of a home based website package through CCC, A Free website.
I was asked to pick an available Domain Name, So I did. Now they are supposed to build my website. So I focus on understanding the other CCC, software I Purchased to build websites and i was trying to figure out how to use their software. No where in anything in any of the literature or emails does it say anything about the fact that they are going to bill you before you get a Website. Why would I be billed monthly For Services on a non-existent website? (I Will show Invoice Copy Below) So I call for CoolHandle support one night and I signed in and saw a tab in the client area of my Invoices, So  I opened it and there was 5 Month's of Billing for $94. 78 a month! I admit I had not been watching my Credit Card billing, I had Not Bought anything. And I did not think that much time had passed. All this time coolHandle is billing me $94.78 month with no web site.

Get This!!

CoolHandle Has no Live voice assistance for Billing Support. So You have to wright a letter to ask a question. Under No Circumstances will billing talk to you over the phone!.So I wrote a letter explaining the fact that I did not know I was being billed and offered a solution where they kept the money, and we applied it towards future billing. I also stated in writhing in that Assistance Letter,No More Billing Was to happen from this point forward.
When all You can do email for Assistance. Your Stuck!
When all you can do is email for Support.
Every written statement should be followed as an Order!
I stated Moving Forward there is to be no more billing to my account, effective Immediately until we have completely applied these credits
I am sure they did not even read it! I am righting This because other than an automated email response. They sent a notice today 10-11-12 that they will bill my account $94.78 on the 13th. I canceled Again and wrote them a letter for support that was ignored. Other than the Kind Regards, Letter
I dont think I am an Idiot, But they made me feel like one.
i would have Never, Done Business with any company that cannot take the time to speak with the customers they are billing about Their Billing!
Now I Assumed that I would have to pay Monthly when I got my 1st website up, or setup I would call and set it up. But I would not pay $24.95 For Priority Service? They will not talk to you, Nor will they give you the choice of regular support?
I don't have anything to back up, why would I need a daily backup, Advanced Stats,Spam Assassin? or Shell Access.

Invoice Date: 07/11/2012
Due Date: 07/13/2012

Cool Handle money back guarantee

AUTHOR: mtph52 - (United States of America)

I totally agree with this companies unethical and false claims of money back guarantee.  I was charged $212.15 when I ordered the product, and then cancelled 2 days after ordering.  They claimed I never cancelled to my credit card company when I disputed the charge.  They are illegally taking consumers money and getting away with it.  They should be sued in a class action lawsuit.

Advice

$95 is a ridiculous amount for what is most likely a shared hosting plan.  All those add ons are incredible as well.  I can understand charging for advanced stats but support, Spam Assassin and I assume shell access means either SSH or FTP.  You should not have to pay additionally for those sorts of things.

There are a lot of companies out there now that portray themselves as web hosting companies.  They make large promises about how easy it is to build a site or that they will build it for you.  Then you will be well on your way to making money.  This is just scummy in my opinion.  They prey on the people who are having tough times and they get them hooked.  Over charge them for crappy service that are usually resold shared hosting plans with a less than helpful site building software.  Once you are hooked they keep telling you to do other things it will cost more and more.  Did I mention scummy yet?

Anyway my recommendation is to really think if having a website is something you want to do.  A lot of these people that get hooked up with these companies really don't.  They are just willing to try anything to get off hard times.  If you really don't have a clue about online business and don't want to then don't do it.  Find something else.  But if you really want to do an online business then here is what to do.  Once you have done all your business planning then start looking into web developers that specialize in shopping carts.  Look local if you can (supporting local, independent businesses is a great thing).  Research the developers and see if other people have good things to say about them.  See who they recommend for web hosting.  They probably like using a particular company.  Use forums about hosting and developing to try to find the best matches.  It's going to be a lot of work and you will have to pay good money but good service deserves that.  Nothing is easy in this world and you should steer clear of companies that try to make you think otherwise.

Good luck.
