In January 2006, I was contacted by Richard Berman of Copeland Marketing to assist me in selling my timeshare. He promised they would have it sold in 90 days and this was their "busy season"! I realized something was wrong when my credit card showed $250 dollars more than the $500.00 they said they needed for this transaction! When I called them about this they stated that I would get the $500.00 back when my property was sold and that the $250.00 was their service fee. I don't have money to throw away and this is a great burden on me - still paying on my timeshare and $750.00 lost!

It has been 11 months and they never called me. I called them every two months to see how they were progressing on my timeshare and always got the response that it would be soon - just to be patient. $750.00 is a lot of money for me, and now I find out that they cannot do anything for me because of fraud allegations and class action suits. Copeland now tells me that money is non-refundable as it was absorbed in their marketing costs.! I am very angry and would like my money back as nothing was ever done, not even one phone call to me!

The Best Way to Get Back Your Money

AUTHOR: Vicky - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, November 18, 2006

Dear Yolanta,

The best thing to do is to create a paper trail of your dealings with Copeland Marketing. Communicate with them via e-mail or U.S. postal. Make copies of all of the letters you create and send. Fill out the complaint forms that were suggested in previous posts at the rip off report. Contact the Attorney General of Florida and give them specific details of what happened to you and what they promised you. The Attorney General currently has an active investigation of Copeland Marketing and I am quite certain that they would like to know from you what exactly happened. You can also find and communicate with other victims like yourself by simply Googling "Copeland Marketing"... I know there is a victims portal to contact each other and a yahoo group too. Good luck Yolanta! I hope that you get your money back!
