I consider myself to be a savy online shopper, but I could NOT find any notification  stating I will be charged $90 in 14 days unless I call to cancell my membership. Nor could I find a phone number to call customer service in order to do so.

I placed the order on Feb. 10th. As I was checking out, I saw an advertisement for the eye cream. However, I didn't want it, so I clicked on 'finish checking out', which caused a purchase of the eye cream. I called the only phone number available who gave me a different phone number, who gave me the correct phone number. I have it written here.

Customer service offered to let me try the eye cream for just an additional $1.99 on top of the $5.99 for the shipping and handling of the face cream. I agreeed. I did not get an emailed confirmation.

On Feb 24, exactly 14 days later, I was charged $89. I called customer service who stated that I was notified about the 14 day free trial and the monthly charge for the face cream. She said when I called Customer Service before about droppingn the charges for the eye cream, she stopped the monthly shipping of it.

I asked her why the first rep did not mention a reoccuring monthly charge while I was on the phone last time. She stated she was not required to. She said it was on the website, it was NOT a box that needed to be checked, and it was not listed in the terms and conditions. It was only online "somewhere". I am a savy shopper, and I Never saw it.

Customer Service finally offered to refund 75% of the $90, but no more. She continually reminded me that it was on the website. She also stated that they win the majority of disputes because I agreed to the terms online.

Summary: the face cream does not live up to the hype, the website is designed to take your money without proper notification, customer service is very hard to find, and it's impossible to get a full refund.
