COREY P. SMITH; CREDO BOOKS; AUTHOR OF HOW TO OUTSMART THE CREDIT BUREAUS & CONSPIRACY OF CREDIT.  I was taken advantage of financially by Mr. Smith (COREY P. Smith) for the amount of $2000. I am disabled and I have suffered greatly as a result. Memphis Tennessee

 I contacted COREY P. Smith after hearing him on multiple interviews on YouTube. I was very impressed with his knowledge as well as his demeanor. Corey P Smith comes across as a very humble and meek personality. His demeanor is very suave and cool. It's almost as though while listening to him, you feel as though it is someone that you have known for a very long time. I am a Christian woman that lives a very humble life. I became legally disabled in 2012 and was mandated to stop working due to having multiple chronic illnesses. In the year 2012 I had to undergo two heart surgeries within a six-month period. It wasn't long after that I was diagnosed with lung disease

as well as joint disease and a sleeping disorder. I have also become immobilized to the extent that I walk with the help of either a walker or a cane. I have around the clock home care due to being hospitalized at least 109 days out of the year. I am a widow, I lost my husband tragically. I say all of this not to seek pity but to give you some insight on all the things that COREY P. Smith new prior to taking advantage of me. As a result of becoming disabled and living on a fixed income, I wanted to learn more about possibly going into business (starting my own business) I did all the necessary work and started to research when I needed more assistance, hence, I browsed YouTube videos.

Some of the information that I heard Corey speak on was very interesting to me so I reached out to him on Facebook. After a couple of attempts he finally responded. When he called me I was so excited I did not know what to say or do. I felt as though God had answered my prayer and I told Corey exactly that. We spoke quite a bit afterwords and he came across as a very sweet and kind gentleman. I went to sleep the first Night that we spoke thanking God for answering my prayers. Unfortunately, I have been crying myself to sleep every night since,being under such heavy stress and having heart disease is not a good look for this kind of extreme emotion. Long story

short, Corey told me to forward him $2000 and he texted me his bank information. The $2000 would be to help me catapult my business by becoming an authorized user on more seasoned accounts. I took the money from the line of credit that I told him existed (by the way, that account has had multiple attempts of someone trying to break the password code). I have notified the financial institution already and I am a wreck literally from the stress this is caused me. The facility that I wrote the line of credit from suspended my account and my credit score dropped tremendously due to my utilization ratio increasing. I notified COREY P. by text messages emails and Facebook on a

daily basis since all the above mentioned happened with my account and he has yet to respond. I have to say that he did respond in the beginning (after numerous calls, emails & voicemail messages). Earlier on today, I saw a website on YouTube with Cory being accosted by the news in Memphis regarding being a slumlord. He was being accused of taking peoples deposits without issuing a lease as well as trying to rent to people the same place and also being accused of utility theft from tampering with the meters in the building which he owned and my heart DROPPED! The few times I was able to get through to him, I was believing his explanations until my calls kept going to

voicemail, and one day I decided to call his phone from a different number and it did not go straight to voicemail, at which point I realized he blocked my number. Now he has shut that number down all together. I am going to file a police report on Monday with regards to the $2000. I did not get any service and I have the text messages to prove that he promised me services for the money. Hopefully this may help me. This man is ruthless, he appears to be an angel of light, but instead he is a heartless person. How can you be so hypocritical to expose the credit bureau's and Turn around and do the exact same thing they do? It's mind boggling to say the least. At this point I doubt that

Corey will do right by me so I am now telling my story to help others not to become victims as well. I've kept a very detailed list of all the transactions as well as our phone conversations which I started recording when I realized he was giving me the royal runaround . I will be posting my video on YouTube soon. Corey P Smith, if you should read this I pray you repent for all the lives you have adversely affected. I read a few other complaints and I am appalled ! Don't you know whatever's in the dark must come to light. Your mother Evelyn and your wife Mimi are also women, your two daughters are also women! The Bible says you shall reap what you sow. The day will come when you will

have to pay for these things that you have done, and you are causing unnecessary ill will towards your family. The awesome thing is if you just have a change of heart, God can and will forgive you for what you have done but you have to change. How would you feel if someone did that to your loved ones? By the looks of it, you probably wouldn't give a hoot. May God help you! I forgive you for what you've done to me but it still hurts real bad.
