Corona Chevrolet Service Department will not perform warranty service on my vehicle Corona California

A month ago I brought my 2005 Chevy Truck into the Corona dealership to have a couple of items repaired before my warranty ran out. First was to replace the gas springs that hold up the rear bed cover. When cold the gas springs wont push up the lid high enough for me to get my hand under to lift it up. I later found a TSB that describes a fix for it, and let the dealer know about it, but they still refused to perform my warranty request. I also explained that the clutch reservoir was running low on fluid about every 90 days and I had to continually add fluid. The dealership called me back after keeping my truck all of one day and half of the next and told be there was nothing wrong with it. I explained when they checked the bed cover operation it must have been when it was warm and the gas springs had a little more energy as when they are cold the lid wont raise like it should and had been for the last 2 or so years. They also told me the fluid level was OK and there was nothing that needed to be done. I called the GM Customer Assistance line and told them my story and after a couple of days, GM called me back and told me to take my truck to a different dealer as they (GM) had no control over how individual dealerships handled warranty issues. The next day I filed a complaint with the BBB here in the inland empire and to this date there still has been no response from this dealership to myself or to the BBB as to any resolution. My truck is now out of warranty.
