Check Scams: The thing that stood out to me right away was the fact the envelope had no return address on it, the stamp said Canada and the check had Warsaw Indiana on it. If you Google the Corporate Research Group at the top of their webpage it states check scam in big red letters. Once you click on it it reads that someone is using this company's name to write bad checks and if you look at the address and numbers giving on the letter they don't match the ones for the company itself.

Today I got a check in the mail for 3,995.00 dollars to become a mystery shopper along with a letter saying what my tasks were. It says to cash the check at your bank you get to keep 450.00 dollars, you get 100.00 dollars to shop and you get to keep the items you buy. There is a survey sheet to be filled out about the store you went shopping at. Then you have 290.00 dollars  for a western union service charge and 3,155.00 dollar are the required funds to be sent to the names you get after you call and activate your check with your assignment co-ordinator mine was Tracy Rogers at 1-514-662-8422.

After that you have to keep all the receipts and survey and fax them to 1-866-509-2191. The human Service Mangers name is Monica Edwards. I took the check to my bank and gave it to them so they could have it looked over it see if it was a real check. They said I would get a call tomorrow. I came home and got online to find out more information about mystery shoppers. I found out there is a on going police investigation with this matter and that if you cash these check its your duty to pay all of the money back.
