I received two withdraws from my account for $20 and $15 and had not idea where it came from. I contacted my bank and was told that NSS Magazine charged me for two magazines for Glamour and Allure. She told me that the merchant's number is 1-800-927-9651.

I contacted this phone number and was unable to speak to a live person. However there was a recording that states to say "yes" if I was calling regarding charges to my account. I gave them the six digit number that was on my statement for the charges. The recording stated that I had signed up for 3 months free subscription 3 months ago in December.

I proceded to cancel my subscription however I kept getting offers for keeping my subscription and bonus gifts for not canceling. I got tired of the recording and hung up. I went online to find more information regarding NSS Magazines.

I know that I signed up for magazines over the internet and was sure that I would be able to find a company website, but I was wrong this company is such a scam. They do have a website or any other phone number listed.

My biggest complaint that I was never notified by mail or email that the charges was going to take effect. I never received a confirmation letter. I never received any bills or statement from NSS Magazines. Prior to the charges on my account I didnt even know what magazine company this was.

I am sure that this company is a scam. They purposely do this so that the consumers will not have a chance to call and cancel their subscriptions until charges has already been taken out. They purposely do not have a company website so that consumers will not know who they are and how they do business.
