Sally Sue Bate we (and everyone at the barn) are appalled by your behavior. Over the summer of you boarding with us has been nothing but constant trouble. You have no idea the number of complaints I've received about you. You would allow your horses to run freely around the property, in the quart yard and barn while kids, and boarders were riding their horses. Not only did you put kids in danger you completely disregarded their safety. Ever since you moved in I had constant complaints about you but due to already having complications in my pregnancy I, personally, limited my interaction with you to avoid harming my unborn with already developing preeclampsia. Do you remember Ryan asking you to not contact me? When we did run into each other I had always made our conversations polite, in the beginning, which I've discovered now that you manipulated and posted lies about me. You had verbally attacked me all the way until the day you left! You went as far as attacking my 3 week old son by always asking me what was wrong with him when I'd be talking to someone else. Nothing! If there was I wouldn't be in the barn. Not once have I ever said anything about you. What I had done was made requests for you to stop vandalizing, stealing, putting others at risk and causing property damage. You have caused my family, children, boarders, staff and lesson students to feel stress, anxiety, fear and discomfort. What surprises me the most about you is that you are a Physiatrist claiming to want to help people yet you spread lies and manipulate those around you. When confronted with issues such as cutting a 12ft section of fencing from our neighbor across the street for personal use you then called me names. Caught stealing hay on MULTIPLE occasions, even after we talked to you about that you did it again on Christmas Eve. I'm not sure what makes you so entitled to be above all of the rules everyone follows. Then you made things personal by asking me if I had any childhood trauma to make me so "nasty"! Despite our conversations' you demonstrated a serious lack of respect for us and those around you. When you moved your horses near the barn for the winter, oh my goodness, the complaints I had received about you were every day. You had decided to walk your horses through a field that already had horses in it, your horses then attacked other boarders horses! Yet you didn't care when another boarder confronted you about that. You manipulated a young girl to believe that doing whatever she wanted was okay because you were already getting away with it. You didn't even get her age right, nor do you know anything about a restraining order when you attacked me again just before leaving you asked me what my problem was. I told you that I am tired of the complaints, theft and people like you doing whatever they wanted without asking. We did no such thing as far as harassment, what I had done was given her 5 days to remove her horses off the property for neglect and violent acts against many of the boarders, horses and staff there. Again, something you know NOTHING about. One day while driving by your horses were turned out on top of our children's bouncy house! I had asked you to remove them and that's when you tried to psycho analyze me. You asked me where you were going to groom your horses then, not there! Try the grooming stations, in you stall, in your pasture! Yet you still did not remove them and asked me if I had PTSD, you stated you were concerned for me and wanted to know why I was so upset. You also stated that you agreed that you should be more aware you then HUGGED me and said that you really enjoyed it at the barn and the only reason you were leaving because you wanted to be closer to trails. The day you gave us notice was also the day I was going to give you an eviction letter, remember the boarding contract I left on your door. The only thing it didn't have was the letter since you already agreed to leave. I am not surprised you wrote such horrible things against me. First, I never worked in the construction business, not sure where you got that. For Ryan you attacked him a few days after the birth of our beautiful son and said that you were concerned for him and that he might be suffering from PTSD. Ryan was tired because we just had a newborn! Why does something always need to be wrong with us with you?? Then in a text message during the time of this post you said that "Ryan is a nice, thoughtful, kind, caring, compassionate person. He is right there to show you the way to be like that. It is not fair to him that you drag him down like that. Make a New Years pledge to be pleasant as he is. It will go along way in helping you in your future success". Oh my goodness, make up your mind! You are obviously hurt and upset that I confronted you and this is your way of lashing out. You are upset because when I asked for a training refund on one of my horses that I couldn't ride because I was pregnant you said that you were unwilling to do that because you were able to ride her. No, you had asked one of my working students to ride her. I had paid you, not them, you did not ride her because of a shoulder injury you had. Then you stated you would give me lessons because I told you I was able to start riding again, I did not want lessons from you and had already started with someone else to compete this year in Western Dressage. You then showed up to one of our birthday parties, that was posted for two weeks that the arena was going to be closed. As far as what I discuss with our birthday party clients is between us, by you noticing a difference and posting something online only makes you look ignorant. You on the other hand rudely interrupted with your horses running around with small children and asked where you were supposed to ride then! Anywhere but where we were! Of course for the safety of the parents, children that do not have experience around horses I was not happy with you. I did learn from that experience on how to confront difficult people such as yourself. I don't even know what to say about the 6 & 7 year old comment.. we teach children and adults horsemanship skills. That includes learning how to clean tack, stalls, how to properly handle and care for a horse so that they will be ready to own one themselves some day! You of all people should know something about that because of your article claiming to want to help children with the healing powers of horses, yet you attacked my students! We have such a wonderful environment for children and adults. We also have the most amazing volunteers that I am so incredibly grateful for!
