Councilman Randall Stone (aka Randy Stone) is an a--hole, Chico California

Chico city councilmember Randall Stone, who also runs a financial planning company, is a real a--hole. A Chico Police Officer insulted Randy and Randy retaliated by publicly shaming the officer through the media.

Stone is accused of going on a witch hunt, bringing up what he believes to be racist postings on the officers Facebook page, postings that were posted many years ago, in an attempt to bring shame to an officer who risks his life to protect the citizens of Chico. Instead of notifying Police Chief privately, Stone chose to go to the media. Many are criticizing Stone for putting this officer's private life out in the media, something that could put this officer and his family in harm.

The officer's supporters are claiming that the officer is protected by the First Amendment, and the postings on his Facebook are satire, not racist.

Why would Randall Stone go to great lengths to publicly humiliate a local Police Officer? We believe it's because Randy is a vindictive a--hole.

The Chico Police Officers Association accuses Stone of retaliating against the officer because the officer insulted him.

There has been a lot of tension between Chico City Council and Chico Police due to the layoffs of many officers. Chico is in debt because incompetent council members mis spent money over the years putting the city in huge debt. And while the city is in debt, the council approves a pay raise for the city manager and his assistant. They cut Police and Fire, then give adminastrators a raise.

Stone could have handled this in a more professional way, by filing a complaint with the officer's superiors, but Stone decided to play dirty by going to the media.
