Having been in real estate, and having had other mortgages paid off in the past. We received a fixed rate 7.625% 30 year mortgage with a Franklin mortgage out Of Holland Michigan.

Countrywide bought the mortgage. after 2 attemps at foreclosure and thousands of dollars later and the Michigan Attorney General Office stepping in we have had our escrow accounts closed because of gouging by Countrywide.

We pay our hazard Ins and taxes, at least 2 times a year because Countrywide can't steal money out of our escrow we receive notices that they have not received Ins info and are going to put insurance on the property. our Ins company sents proof and we still get the letters.

Now the newest trick is the taxes, when in escrow we had to contact the A.G office because Countrywide did not pay them and was collecting the money.

We pay our Summer and Winter Taxes in Feb and Countrywide has jumped and sent a check to the local treasury and is going to set up an escrow account. Here we go again.

Our payments with no escrow are $670.71 with escrow are $801.00 we were getting payment coupons from $850 to $1050 per month.

Countrywide has attemped to change the terms of our original mortgage and reported it to the credit companies as $1050 per month.

We have all documents, from the begining of our loan to present.

We have been advised by the A.G. office to seek legal advice as we have mulitiple cases against Countrywide and the credit companies, as they have not changed info when we requested.
