Cousins Moving and Storage Beware of these Scam Artists Internet

Beware of Cousins Mocing and Storage. They are scam artists. I called them for a small move of a one bedroom apartment to a two bedroom apartment one hour away in Palm Beach. The Sales person person Aaron quoted me a price of $467.00 for the move with a crew of two movers, assuring me the price would not change no matter what. No suprises like the other movers hit you with! Thats what he told me. I had called many other movers and their prices where higher so I decided to go with Cousins. This is what I budgeted for in my move and felt good about this price. The day before the move the owner Clemens calls me and asks me if I am ready for the move and if I had packed boxes or not etc.. I told him I had everything packed and ready to go from my one bedroom apartment in Sunny Isles to Boynton Beach. He then proceeds to tell me that he thinks I need three men and that the move will take about 6 hours 2.5 hours to load, 1 hour trip, and 2.5 hours to unload. I ask him will this cost more, his response was of course it will. I told him that Aaron had told me on numerous occassions the price would not change no matter what, no suprises! he tole me! I shoudl have cancelled right then, but I had already chsoen them and I was moving the next day, I was stuck with these schmucks.  The day of the move came and they sent two crew and one crew chief named Harry, who had one speed. SLOW! But Harry seemed to be very good at tracking the time as he would wrap some pieces of furniture like a mummy and take his time, then put one piece of moving wrap around my wood desk. I had clearly marked my boxes Kitchen , Bathroom, Living Room, etc... After the move I not only had damaged furniture, but I had Kitchen boxes in my bathroom, bathroom boxes in my Kitchen. It was a mess. The worst part of all of this, is the 4 hours they originally quoted me turned into 10 hours. 4.5 hours to load a truck from a one bedroom, one hour to drive to Boyton, The 4.5 hours to unload. Harry and his crew were slow when they needed to be, but it was funny they timed it out perfectly to 10 hours. I would not recommend this moving company to anyone. I called the owner back the next day and he just gave me lip service about how Harry was one of his best employees, and they are a AAA rated company... It that is a AAA rated company, then who ever is doing the ratings needs to reevaluate Cousins USA, Moving and Storage. Worst moving experience of my life!
