To All Prospects of Covered Glass Inc, DBA WINDOW DESIGN GROUP who are performing due diligence on this company:

Sadly, I need to share my story.

I ordered two windows in March of 2016 from Covered Glass Inc, DBA WINDOW DESIGN GROUP. The price was approximately $5,500.

A man named Keith Dwyer came out to the house to measure. At the time of his visit there were many house projects planned and many were underway.

He seemed pleasant enough and we discussed at great length having a home requiring minimal maintenance, including but not limited to; window painting. It was crystal clear, I wanted aluminum, so there would never be a need to paint, ever. We further discussed fake grass amongst other things to further minimize routine house work. There was zero doubt aluminum is what this customer wanted.

Numerous calls and emails ensued. All of Mr Dwyer's emails refer to "aluminum".

I was told by him it would be 3 weeks for delivery.

Three weeks go by and no windows.

My original contractor had to leave the job due to the fact he couldn't wait any longer and had other jobs scheduled.

Nonetheless, delivery arrived 3 weeks later. And, unbelievably, a combination of aluminum and wood windows show up. Wood???

I denied the delivery since they were clearly the wrong ones.

The product was never offloaded the truck. Never received.

I had to seek out another supplier. Interestingly enough, the other source delivered windows approximately 10 days later. Exactly as planned and were subsequently installed.

I reached out to Covered Glass Inc, DBA WINDOW DESIGN GROUP to discuss their mistake. They denied wrongdoing. Furthermore, even though there is not a single word in their documents that states the word "wood" they still did not accept their mistake.

I called my credit card company to dispute the charge. Apparently after some investigation by Bank of America, the charge on my card was reversed. Afterall, the bank just doesnt eliminate a charge without investigation.

Months later they send a small claims courts notice. Really?

I will now have to make waste my time to make sure that every website and governmental authority in the land is aware of their deception. I have better things to do.

Covered Glass Inc, DBA WINDOW DESIGN GROUP is a company I would recommend thinking twice about.
So pathetic. Especially sad to the employees who work there.

I only wanted what aluminum, not this bs.

RL
