My Cox Communication Bill continues to rise!

Looking for a way to reduce my Cox Bill ($167+), I purchased my own Modem, and returned the Cox's modem I had been renting for $10.00 a month.  You'd think that would mean, $10 less on my monthly bill, but here's what happened.

1st month (Jan) the $10.00 monthy charge was completely removed and my bill was $155+.

2nd month (Feb) increased from $155 to $157.  Cox charged 1/2 month fee for the modem I already returned.

3rd month (Mar)-  expecting to see a bill amount of $155, instead my bill increased to $165.81.

Yet another increase:

TV (expanded services) $63.99

Highspeed Internet   $52.99

Telephone  $60.32

Recently AT&T U-Verse made the following offer.  With the same services I have with Cox, I was offered a monthly total of $115.00 for 1 year.  $50 less than Cox.

To provide a chance to keep a loyal customer, I contacted Cox and a rep transferred me to, what she referred to as, "the loyal customer line".  After discussing the annual $115.00 offer made by AT&T U-verse, the rep informed me that he could give me a reduction of $15.00, and advised me that the $15.00 decrease would go into effect immediately. Are you kidding me? $15.00.  To entertain the measly $15.00 reduction, I went online and even that was not honored.  I instead witnessed a reduction of $4.36 not $15.00.  The measly $15.00 isn't even enough to keep me, however, the over-the-top price increases and dishonesty is even more reason to leave Cox!  Guess what? They don't care.  Now I will be forced to go elsewhere.

You do realize taht the offer with Uverse is an INTRODUCTORY offer right? Meaning after 1 year you have to pay their full price too. Which will run you 150$+ too.
