CoxSucks Roadrunner broadband that we have here in Fairfax county
Virginia is a sad joke for an ISP. Stay away from them at all cost ! I have had the service for 4 month now and its down more then its up. You pay for 24/7 service and are lucky if you get
3/3. Calling techsupport, it takes at least 20 min to get a human
on the phone and then they always blame your equipment. I am on my second modem, 2 ethernet card at least 10 hours of reconfiguring my computer (it must be a problem in your setup)
There site in the internet "always" says no service problems in your area even when its down. I am canceling service with coxsucks today and am going back to dialup after spending over
$400.- in equipment and countless hours on the phone with techsupport. They should rename cox rr to coxsucks a division of Enron !

Cox no longer re-sells Road Runner!!

Cox Communications of Northern VA experienced so many problems with the Road Runner servers we dropped the ISP and now provide a stand-alone product, "Cox High Speed Internet". The reliability of the service has been greatly enhanced and we recently doubled our download speeds from 1.5MB to 3.0... Cox High Speed Internet was recently awarded an A+ rating from PC Magazine.
