I took my 1979 Camaro to get a new stereo and speakers replaced.  Some guy by the name of Nich asked me if I needed help aand I told him what I needed.  he gave me a price to have my stereo and speakers done for 300 dollars but that was a little over my budget so he gave me a lower model with same speakers for $248 which I accepted.  I  had the penny saver in my hand so I asked Nich how much was he charging me for the unit and he said 69 dollars.  I was like you have a higher model advertised for 47 dollars why dont he swap it but he said that if I wanted it I needed to pay 20 dollars difference?  I started to notice some "mickey Mouse" going on when he was charging me 100 bucks just for the stereo and the speakers but 150 dollars install but since I already paid I didn't want to make a big deal out of it.  HE TELLS ME THAT THE ADD IN THE PENNY SAVER IS JUST TO BRING CUSTOMERS THAT THE PRICES ARE NOT REAL!!! ( I should of walked away but since i already paid..)

After 3 hours my car was done and when I first opened the door I noticed my center console scratched and I called out Nich to report the damage.  He looked at it and told me "oh that was already there, look at the other damage inside your car"  I told him I drive this car every day and that was not there.  He told me again there is nothing much he can do and started to walk away.  I was pretty upset so I got in my car and drove away.  No less than 50 feet away my new stereo just caved inside the dash!  I make a Uturn went back and told them about it.  Right away they take the car in and started to work on it.  I am on the phone with my wife telling her what had happened and Nich comes out with a camera and started to take pictures of the areas that are messed up inside my car ( its a 31 yr old car so there is a lot of wear and tear folks ) .  After they are done I notice my stereo is only picking 2 stations so i told Nich and he said to read the manual.  I was like " I need a manual to scan for radio stations?" but I left since I was way beyond pissed already.

When I get home I checked the back of the stereo and the antenna wire is just mickey mouse with electrical tape and my neon head lights were not working.  I looked under and found they have unplugged the wire during the install.  I decide to go back and complaint one more time.  I asked Nich what was going on and without even looking at me told me to come back tomorrow.  At that point I lost it and told him if you don't fix my car now I will file a complaint with the BBB and the State divison.  THEN he looks at me with a little smile on his face and tells me you can do that and I will take a look at your car NEXT MONTH.  We started to argue right in the show room and dares to kick me out saying get the F out of here!  I refused and started to talk to him about the crappy job they did.  There was a FVPD outside and I wanted to run to get the officer but he tried to calm the fumes down.  I just left and will never return again.  I filed a report with the BBB and california BAR.  Hopefully they will lose their license and go out of bussines!

Took my 370z to Crazy Stereo today to get a quote for an alarm system. Spoke with the owner and he gave me a really good price. The business was really busy but he was able to take me in the same day.
