I would advise you never to do business with Keith Muchler, Creative Indoor or any other company this man is associated.  My experience here is personally embarrassing and it took some time to go public with an admission of my poor judgment in trusting Keith Muchler and giving my companies money to him.

I am the marketing director of a medium sized company in Tampa Bay Florida.  I was approach by Mr. Muchler who indicated he was the owner of Creative Indoor. ( I have through research discovered there are two advertising companies called Creative Indoor registered with the State of Florida that Mr. Muchler is associated with. One of them seems to be owned by his wife/business partner the other by him.)  Keith Muchler offered to sell my company advertising that would be placed in restaurants bars and other public venues around Tampa Bay.  The price was very affordable and the locations offered attractive.  We paid for the advertising and expected good results.  Mr Muchler claimed to have over 20 years in the business and made repeated references to his partnerships with the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field and the Tampa Bay Lighting.  If he ever had such relationships they apparent were either insignificant or were so brief they no longer exist.  Also the corporate records with the State of Florida indicate that the two Creative Indoor companies have only been in business a few years and  one has already been shut down.  Prior to that time Mr Muchler owned a construction rehab company that apparently invested in and flipped houses.

As I do with all advertising I purchase for my company I always verify that the advertising we pay for is in fact placed as promised.  When I went to the locations contracted for with Creative Indoor our ads were placed in none of them!  Many of the locations indicated they had no idea who Keith Muchler. or Creative Indoor was.  Muchler had taken our money and did absolutely nothing he had promised to do.  I made repeated calls to Creative Indoor to find out what had happened and when I could expect to have our ads placed or our money returned.  None of my calls were ever returned.  In all my years of buying advertising I have never been scammed in this way.  Fortunately the amount of money invested was small relative to our usual advertising buys so I walked away and considered this a embarrassing painful lesson learned.

I hoped never to encounter Mr Muchler again or even hear his name.  I am a active networker and regularly attend business events in the Tampa Bay area.  At such an event the topic of Mr Muchlers advertising was brought up by a fellow business person.  Apparently they had the same experience that I did.  Over the next few months I kept my ears open and encountered two more business people with the same experience. I have a feeling this is the smallest tip of the ice burg. Like me none had filed suit because of the small dollar amount and they were also embarrassed and did not want to invest any more time or involvement with this man..   Finally at a social party I ran into a friend of Keith Muchler who had business dealings with him when he was in real estate.  After telling him about my experience his friend said Muchler had asked him to do a money transaction that was not only unethical but illegal.  He went on to describe Keith Muchler as charming but a shady character or questionable ethics.

By now I was starting  to relize that someone needed to do take some action or Muchler would continue to scam and rip people off with no consequences for doing so.  So take my story as a warning that if you do business with Keith Muchler or Creative Indoor you do so at risk of being scammed.. From my own personal experience and  what I have learned form others do not take the chance.

It's just one upset person, just like any other business

AUTHOR: straitup99 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, September 26, 2012

I would not be getting a paycheck nor would they be in business if they did not come through with their promises. Sometimes things fall through in businesses or paperwork (which is now digitilized) gets lost in transistion. I  don't know about not returning phone calls. But a thing about businesses,  you may have been upset by large corporations, example, Wal-Mart once before, it happens. You can not say that you have been unsatisfied a time or two by companies that are huge aka well known..it could just be a simple misunderstanding. It's a small business that is expanding because of it's affordability and service to help other businesses thrive as well. No one is perfect, is all I am saying. I have been upset by many businesses over the years, it's lousy, but I try to understand and hope it is made it right. If it wasn't I feel truely sorry, but I have no control or say..I'm just a low man on the totum pole.
