THese timeshare cmpanies call you and tell you you have a buyer. Sounds good Than they say they have a buyer standing right there. Now they even send you a letter of intent. Sounding better. They promise they have it sold for you already. Than they ask you for a credit card preferably a check ( so you cant dispute with CC COmpany) than they say they will put a check from the sale next week. THey even get you more than you origanially wanted for your tiemshare. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!THis will go on and on until you cannot dispute the charge anymore. DO NOT SIGN CONTRACT. The law in FLirda requires that this type of timeshare resale in licensed and bonded. This would make sense if you a company takes credit cards. THe Dept of Agriculture only licenses telemaketers after they put up a b ond. In case they take of with your credit card number. Unfortunately seniors have been targeted becuase they do not have access to internet. THe scammer calls the lead (timeshare owner) says they have a buyer if they sign up with them right there Usually want around $1886.00 up to $6,000.00 THan they say the sale is being put though and within a month you will have the proceeds from the sale in your account. This is not true. There is NO buyer there. These crooks use disposable cell phones that can be brought anywhere in Florida (7-11) THey will put a message on the phone so if you call them the recording sounds legit so far. Than they run your credit card (if you did not send a check) through merchants accounts off shore (they get paid 50 cents on the dollar) For a crook 50 cents on a dollar is better than no dollars at all. THe scammer will call them for days as they are relentless in there lies about the timeshare being sold. The crook becomes friendly usually with seniors as it sounds so good that finally there timeshare is sold. THis is the hot scam going around in Florida recently. Please beware there is no such thing as a buyer sitting there. Again the company needs to be licensed though the State of FLorida. Please check with the Dept of Consumer Affairs.

Lately, Creative Marketing Solutions . American Marketing, Heavenly Marketing. Timeshare Market Pro, Global Marketing,( They hide In Mass but call from FLorida) so they could avoid prosecution. THese are ALL companies that are calling saying they have a buyer right there and scamming consumers of thousands and thousands daily. Understand These are scams and do not fall for it. THere is NO such a thing and if you have fallen for it call your credit card company to dispute the charge. Try to cancel the charge and report them to the State. There are a few companies in FLorida that are registered with the State as licensed and bonded resale timeshare companies.

Also these "resale" companies change there names once a month so you cant find a complaint on line. Again check the state for their license number. If you go to the BBB and it says no complaints chances are they just changed their name recently and no one has sent a complaint yet. The crook will say "look I have no complaints" Not true Its just they just changed there names and no one sent in anything( this is how the BBB works.
