Credit Acceptance Scandelous!! Southfield, Michigan
*Consumer Comment: Did You Ask Why?
These people do nothing but finance LEMON CARS to people with little/no/bad credit. People are trying to get their credit UP/BETTER, and they do nothing but scam you. I started out with NO CREDIT, and making my payments ON TIME every month, they still put me in to collections, claiming I had not been paying on time. WTF. Bunch of Assholes. Will never get ANYTHING through them ever again.

Did You Ask Why?

First, if you have problems with the car, thats a matter between you and the dealer. Financing your purchase is done by the loan company who has zero control of the ca's quality or continual problems you might have. The due date is contained in your contract. What does it say? If you are mailing the payment, they must receive it by the due date. If you are paying on line, read the website to see how long it takes for the payment to be posted. I would suggest you call them now and discuss specifically what the due date is and see what they say versus what your contract says.
If there is a discrepancy, you may need to fax them a copy of the contract. The reason you are dealing with the collections people is because in their view you are paying late. The only reasons this could be an issue are: there is a discrepancy in their records about when the due date is; you don't really know the due date and you need to read the contract; you are not mailing it in time; you are not submitting the payment on line in time or this is a bogus report. No, I don't work for them.
