I, like many others, received a letter offering me a $10,000.00 line of credit. Preapproved. just send a check for the annual fee of $37.00.

Here's what my letter said:
----------------------------------------------------------------
Dear "your name here",
In these uneasy economic times, it's nice to know that a reliable person, such as yourself, has been selected ane pre-approved to receive a Gold card Membership from Creditcorp. it's not unusual that we garantee pre-approval of a $10,000.00 credit limit and best of all, "your name", you are PRE-APPROVED!

Full details of your membership and it's exclusive benefits will be included with your new Gold Card. Satisfaction is guaranteed: you have a 60 day refund of money gaurantee!

So act today, as this is a limited time offer. Failure to do so may result in your loss of eligibility. Please send your $37 annual fee by check or money order for immediate membership activation

note: the $37 is FULLY REFUNDABLE with your first purchase using your $10,000.00 credit limit.
----------------------------------------------------------------

There it is. word-for-word.
I got ripped off! And now they have my bank routing numbers! my bank says "since you wrote the check & mailed it, it's not OUR fault that someone cashed it."

Don't let this happen to you!

Why so harsh?

If you read the letter correctly, you would realize that this person sent that money because they thought they would be getting a credit card, and they didn't. That's how they got ripped off. Read things more carefully before you go throwing lame comments our way. I know they said nothing about not recieving anything, but it's pretty obvious, I'm sure all the rest of us got that hint by reading all the rest of the reports about this "company". Just my opinion. Thanks. Have a great day! =)

How were you "ripped off"? They told you the annual fee was $37 and you sent it to them. What is the "ripoff"?
