Credit Education Group ripoff consumer fraud ripoff Henderson Nevada

i recieved a phone call from a melissa cleary agent #3181 with the credit education group. I had recently been denied a credit card from another company and she said that they recieve lists of applicants that the company wouldnt give credit too.

I am new to applying for credit cards and was just plain not thinking. Like other reports ive read she said a one time fee would be applied and then I would recieve a list of companys supplying credit to people who have applied with her company. Later I recieved a notice that I had been denied I wish I would have saved it.

I basically forgot about it till they withdrew the money on the date agreed initially, and I had gotten bank statements with overdrafts caused by the lack of money in my account. i feel so stupid, and realize there is little I can do, its interesting to note that the address given when I requested is the same as at least one other rip off alert, but the phone # are different, maybe there are more than one group of people in on this scam.

I had been contacted by another company that said they recieved my info from another company, if it was the first card company that initially denied me or the credit education group I dont know, but this company has my information also, although they are easy to contact and a last check said they dont have any of my information in their computer anymore. and this strikes me as strange, because they contacted me several times trying to get me to sign on to their program, which sounds very similiar to the credit education group. this company is called clear choice credit.

Im going to change my bank account now, and feel lucky to have no more money for them to scam. as far as learning a lesson, I will never apply for anything over the phone again.
