Credit Management Associates CMA Orlando Florida

Credit Management Associates from Orlando, FL, specifically an Edgar and Kendra (321-246-5809), and Lea Brownell (866-965-6554) contaced me, leading me to believe they were associated with my credit card.  They wanted to lower my interest rate.  Once I agreed to them seeing if I could get a lower interest rate I entered into a verbal agreement.  They were very nice up to this point.  Then they began rushing me, transferring me to several different people, one being Heather Cline, telling me I needed to take $3200 from my credit card and deposit into my personal bank account and then give them my bank account info so they could take their fee of $3200.  At this point I knew this was not right so I told them I wanted to cancel the entire agreement.  They told me I couldn't, they got irate and very, very rude, told me I entered into a none cancellation agreement.  My husband got on the phone at that point, asked for their address and they gave him a PO box, they stated they did not have a street or company address.  I cancelled all my credit cards, put an alert on my credit report, notified my bank and endured multiple harassing phone calls from CMA telling me they were turning me into a collection agency.  This all occurred Sept. 19, 2013.  Today, Oct. 8, 2013 I receive a phone call from 407-578-8999 (caller ID said Henry Bowers) stating she was from the legal department at CMA.  She harrassed me about the verbal agreement I entered into and wanted me to pay.  When I called the number back no one answered.  I was so relieved to see another report on Ripoff Report about CMA.  Yes, they know what to say to make them seem legitimate and are very good at coercing.
