 Here is a copy of the letter I emailed this company:

Credit MRI,
I'm writing to express my disappointment and frustration with your company. I have been ripped of by credit repair companies in the past and have had few results from others. However, none were more fraudulent and dishonest than yours. You claim to have a contract for 12 months with the work expected to be completed in 4 to 6 months. Any right thinking individual would believe you would continue using various methods you're supposedly experts in until the 12 months had expired. Instead, you write me this ridiculous pre-written response telling me you went as far as you could go with the accounts in my profile. You only ran 3 disputes for my file. one with addresses, one with the credit bureaus and one with the credit bureaus and creditors. That's R-I-D-C-U-L-O-U-S. I paid your company $475 for very little effort on your behalf. You deleted only 15 of the 52 items you were trying to remove or turn positive. 6 of the 15 were addresses, 5 were inquiries and only 4 were actual accounts. There is no debating that you're company falls under the category of Rip-Off or Scam. I'm sure this is business as usual with your company. Very little outlay or production combined with Take the money and run. You can be assured as a 26 year successful professional, I will warn any future clients I can, of your lack of concern and Zero customer service. A copy of this email will be posted on every rip-off warning site and blog available to me as well as the Better Business Bureau. Thanks for nothing.

        2) I was giving known facts to rebutt an unfounded opinion which is totally legitimate.

        3) I don't care what it sounds like to you because you're obviously another idiot trying to describe me when you don't know me. Are you a dumb liberal that disregards facts when making a judgment? Sounds like it to me.

        4) How was this guy standing up to me when he gave an unfounded opinion of me and knows nothing of the company?

        5) Little boy??? Anytime you'd like to meet up and back up your words, let me know. But, I'm sure you're just another coward hiding behind the computer to fight his battles.

If you don't like what others say here then don't post ANYTHING here. This is an open website. Sounds to me like you're just another know it all snot with an attitude problem. You just can't stand it when somebody stands up to you. Bottom line little boy is if you weren't an OBVIOUS DEADBEAT then you wouldn't have bad credit to start with.

Im not really sure what made you think this was your business but, let me straighten you out.  You can be assured as a 26 year successful professional, While I have no idea what you are disputing or why you are disputing it, I am doubtful of this statement.
1)  I really dont care what your opinion is about my statement because it happens to be a fact and I have a stellar record and reputation. I dont take the easy way out of anything and I have credit issues caused by unavoidable encounters, so stick to worrying about the truthfulness of your own statements.
2)   I already know what credit repair companies can legally do and how most of them operate including the use of disputing addresses. However, there are reasons to use them and not do it yourself such as time management.
3)   I dont need to read up on the FCRA as I am well schooled in the FCRA topic as well as the FDCPA.
One last thing. If youd like to give advice to be helpful, you should do it only when people ask. Otherwise, youre involving yourself in affairs of no concern to you and it could be taken the wrong way. Especially when you start out calling somebody a Liar. Straightened out yet, Robert?

Here is a copy of the letter I emailed this company because we corrected the misunderstanding:

Credit MRI,

I apologize for rushing in judgment on your services. I have spoken with your VP, Tom as I'm sure your
aware and I'm in the process of correcting the inputs to the BBB as well as Rip-Off report.com. I understand you believed I was simultaneously disputing items in my file and you were ceasing all work for my protection as well as yours. I guess the template for the "service complete" email I received from you made it seem that my contract was cancelled because your work had been done. This as well as my bad experiences with credit repair companies had me thinking you were just another one of those rip-offs. Again, I apologize. I am ready to begin a new contract with your company. I just re-openned my credit keeper account. Thanks again for all of your help.

Dispute Resolved

Client misinterpreted notification regarding his file status. 

Credit MRI Law Group does not charge in advance for any service. As a result, our contract provides the right to cancel it at any time by providing written notice. However, that was not the intention in this case.

Copy of notification sent:


Your  contract with Credit MRI has expired or we have gone as far as we can go with  the items left in your account. If additional accounts have appeared on your  report you may choose to enroll in another 1 year contract. This would begin  with a fresh report being pulled and all negative information being added to  the file. There would be no setup fee but the file fee cap would be based on  the new assessment of work to be done. Prior fee caps are not carried over to  new contracts.

Regardless, we want to thank you for your business and  wish blessings on you and your family. If there is anything we can do for you  let us know.

Client made verbal representations that led us to believe he may be simultaneously disputing items in his file. In addition, new items were appearing that were not part of the contracted work to be done.

Once a client reveals that they are submitting their own disputes we cease all work, for their protection and ours. This combined with the new items led us to cancel the current contract but provide the client with a new contract to define exactly what we are supposed to be doing for him, if anything.

I have since had communication with the client and he is now clear on the process, his role, and the contract requirements. He has been provided and accepted a new contract as the notification offered.

You can be assured as a 26 year successful professional,
- While I have no idea what you are disputing or why you are disputing it, I am doubtful of this statement.  Because you have said that you have been to SEVERAL Credit "Repair" companies, it appears you are trying to take the "easy" way out of your bad credit rather than actually working on your practices.  Unfortunately, if this is the case you will just get "new" bad credit and be subject to being "Ripped" off by any person who says they can "fix" your credit.

The key thing you need to know.  There is NOTHING that a Credit "Repair" company can do legally that you can not do yourself for free.

I have never heard of this place or know how they operate. However, there are some credit repair companies that will attempt to dispute everything, legitimate or not, and hope that something sticks.  The problem with that is that the CRA's have the right to consider the disputes frivolous.  Once they do that it makes it next to impossible to have even legitimate disputes fixed.

Just one other thing.  Disputing things such as Addresses is meaningless, especially if you are just disputing variations of your address.  It is not used in any "Scoring" and while can show history such as how many places you lived, it is not always going to be accurate.   The key for addresses is a good way to detect possible Identity Theft issues in seeing accounts at addresses you never heard of.

I suggest you read up on the Fair Credit Reporting Act(FCRA) to understand your rights.  You may also want to check out sites such as myfico.com  (If it gets redacted it is my fico without the spaces).  They have quite a bit of information on your credit report and how credit scoring works.
