WHAT I HAD NO TROUBLE UNDERSTANDING IS THAT THIS IS A MENTALLY DISTURBED INDIVIDUAL WHO HAS DIFFICULTY FORMING AN ARTICULATE ARGUMENT AND EXPRESSING IT IN A LUCID AND COHERENT FASHION.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT ETHNICITY OR RACE THIS PERSON MAY BE.

I SUSPECT WE WILL FIND OUT ON THE NEWSCAST WHEN THIS PERSON GOES BERSERK.

The HOA at Creekwood is very reasonable. I've had my handful of annoying letters about garbage needing to be out of sight, but whenever I visit my parents in South Florida, I am so grateful to have a HOA. So many fine neighborhoods are ghettos now, and no one respects their own property.

Let me tell you lady that you are the one that sounds prejudice to me!!!.....So why are you filling this report????

I am not prejudice on skin color but I am predjudice on attitude. My best friend is an african american and he agrees so much. He will not date black women because he said that they are crazy. I tell him that it is the illiterate uneducated ones that are like that but that goes for white people too. People that are uneducated are just rude.... I can't tell you how many times that I have been pushed around from a black women and let them get away with it. They don't know how to say excuse me and are just rude and need an attitue adjustment. I am very shy and these black women are so mean and make people predjudice towards them....

As My family and friends would say that we are not prejudice on color but on Attitudes...

I have worked in the same customer service business for 10 years and have treated all people equally and why shouldn't I? I am not prejudice but it is funny how I have mostly only had problems with black women and not black men or whites period.. but black women trying to manipulate and still and curse and everything else....

These uneducated people are not raising there kids right because I see kids that act out and curse and call white people names for NO reason. As a homeowner in this neighborhood of which you speak, why not start a petition to overthrow the current HOA and hold elections to fill the current positions with people WHO ARE WILLING TO DO SOMETHING. It is time for the remaining decent residents to "take back" the neighborhood before it is too late, enforcing the covenants and if necessary, getting rid of the human trash that is taking up unecessary space, refusing to follow the agreed-upon rules, and making the neighborhood an unpleasant place for everyone. I live in the same neighborhood as you. I am quite appalled at your language and your attitude!

I will find out who you are, and would like to wash your mouth out with soap. You display un-ladylike behavior and no matter what happened to you on Shadow Creek you have stooped to the level of your accusers by using foul language full of racist and vitriolic comments.

The neighboorhood started out 14 years ago or so as a nice friendly quiet middle-class mostly white because that is who lived here mostly. Since then the traffic has gone from 4000 cars per day to about 20,000 cars per day on the main road. The university has increased from 18000 to 48000 students. Also during this time thousands of illegal aliens have moved into the surrounding community as well as thousands of other immigrants from Central and South America. Now combine all this with a surge of American transplants and you have a lot of angry people who dont understand each other.

THe white middle class people are not racist here, believe me, and neither are the blacks. However, the immigrants from places other than Puerto Rico and Cuba certainly have a rotten attitude about the locals, probably assisted by the likes of Jesse Jackson, CNN, the ACLU and other racist organizations bent on causing anger among people.

You need to dig deep into your soul if you have one and pray for peace and pray for those who hate you. Your anger shows you to be not forgiving and thus your heart is cold.

However, they are cold hearted when it comes to enforcement. They will go around and write people up and if they rent, the owner will get a letter. The problem is that we have about ONLY FIVE problem houses on this street, but there is no enforcement of the rules, just letters sent out.

You should not be throwing trash into the yard, instead it should be put into an appropriate container which should be kept hidden around the side or back of the house until garbage pickup. We have garbage pickup on tuesday and friday. I dont think this is asking too much of you. And why you keep such chemicals in your house is stupid and you know it, yet force the neighborhood to put up with your strewing the junk all over the yard. THose people probably complained to the do-nothing HOA and after seeing zero results, took matters in their own hands. BUt placing the bags next to your door was in my opinion properly done to show you their disgust with your behavior and I agree with them. The HOA is useless, and the main problem on this street is the dozens of new college students who have moved here. They always block the sidewalks and the mailboxes, they throw beer bottles, cups and other trash in the street and have made this a less-desirable place to live and especially to raise children. They race down the street (as do many of the immigrant and transplants like yourself) at high speeds.

So you are to blame for your problems, and I personally believe you are a very hateful, anti-American non-white immigrant with a chip on your shoulder the size of Mt. Rushmore. You think racist gobble-de-goop low-class trash talk will win people over to your side. No way Jose!

Go to Lowes, Home Depot, K-Mart, Walmart--any of these places sell inexpensive plastic garbage cans on wheels. Leave next to your door. Throw garbage bags into garbage can and close lid tightly. Garbage is now neatly contained out of site and is not contaminating your environment. For garbage days, wheel to curb. If you cannot manage to wheel the can the curb, explain this to your Homeowners Association; if you appear to be willing to cooperate they are more likely to be able to work with you and help you out.

If you do this you will learn in time whether the issue was truly over garbage or that they indeed have it in for you.

You know, there is a lot of heated rhetoric being thrown around and let's take a look at the real issues here.

When you move into any place with a homeowners association, you agree to live by the rules. And if the rules say don't pile trash in your front yard, THEN DON'T DO IT! I don't want to see cars on blocks in my neighborhood and I don't want to see my neighbors yard looking like the set of Sanford & Son. How does enforcing the rules make someone an evil racist?

You agreed to abide by the community rules, they are recording in the chain of title to your property. If you don't like it, then move.

This situation is a violation of YOUR civil rights as an American. Have you tried to contact, or did you possibly contact any legal groups, lawyers, or advocacy groups such as the ACLU? No one has a right to trespass on your property like this and the cops should have protected you. As an american citizen, you are protected from trespassers and people harassing you on your property. Many people in this world are housebound and need assistance with their trash, and other things. This is quite a horrible neighborhood,

I think you really need to take these criminals to court and have some justice done here. I also have a severe disability, degenerative disc disease throughout my thoracic and lumbar spine. My situation is quite serious and I NEED to depend on my husband and my neighbors for help. YES, my neighbors are both black and white. Of all of my neighbors the only ones that have EVER took advantage of me in any way were WHITE !!!!!! That particular neighbor, when helping me out stole some of my medication, nice neighbor huh? But, I asked people around me for help. I did not throw my garbage outside my home. My husband travels quite a bit so I need to depend on others when he is away. Many times I have just had to ask and there they are to help me out, whether it is to walk the dogs or to take my GARBAGE to the DUMPSTER! No big problem.

Just be very happy you are here in the United States and that you are not in another Country where you might be treated worse than you are treated here. What kind of sick and disgusting people are you that you condone harassing a person with a serious health condition? You are horrible, arrogant, and pathetic people.

Under NO circumstances is anyone allowed to trespass on her property, or anyone else's property for ANY reason. I knew Florida was full of stupid people, but this is very low. You are terrible, and sick people. By condoning the illegal and criminal actions of her neighbors you have branded yourself an advocacy of criminal acts yourself.

As a law student, I find it all too shocking to witness people in society thinking it's ok or legal to trespass on another person's property, especially a person with a serious health condition. If I had any power I would hope that all these people end up in prison where they belong.

I recently heard of a story where an old woman had over 20 animals living in her house and she couldn't clean up after them. After her neighbors found out, they got together and agreed to clean her house up for her. This is what neighbors usually dothey usually HELP their neighbors out, not harass them, and especially not a woman with a health problem.

There is no reason this person's neighbors are actually bothering her for throwing trash bags in front of her door, unless they have a personal grudge against her, or are against the fact that she is a minority. I have no doubt that this person is being targeted for being a minority. MCS, is a very serious illness, and people take many precautious to prevent from becoming ill.

Many people are housebound and have to keep their houses clean, so it is no shock that having to throw trash out is the only alternative for this person. This is a situation that happens to people with serious illnesses who are housebound, and have no other choice.

We minorities are TIRED of you racist ignorant white people claiming that racism doesn't exist, when it's a huge problem in society. Here are some tips to help you with your illness. While I don't claim to be an authority, maybe I can offer some help here.

Improve indoor air quality using house plants
In his book How to Grow Fresh Air (Penguin Books), Dr. B. C. Wolverton shares his NASA research on cleaning indoor air using house plants. The research was originally conducted for NASA, for improving air quality in space stations and long manned missions.

He tested fifty plants for their ability to remove toxic gases. Some plants does it better than others, though no plant is best at everything, as this chart shows:

Some of the best overall plants are several palm trees (such as the Areca Palm, and Lady Palm), as well as Dracaenas and Chrysanthemums. The book lists fifty plants, with easy charts for choosing the right type, based on their abilities and requirements for light, temperature, etc.
It does seem that a lot of plants are needed to make any difference, more than most people would be comfortable having in their living room. As other texts point out, plants causes evaporation of water, and higher humidity is undesirable as it makes it easier for mites and molds to grow. Formaldehyde and other volatile chemicals also outgas more in a humid environment. Plants can also house molds.

For those times when you to have to enter places that are not healthy for you, you can use a mask. For simple things, like doing laundry, I use a simple dust mask.
To go into an area that have recent carpeting, I use a 3M mask with the optional organic vapor filter (it regularly comes with a HEPA filter). This mask is available from several of the allergy supply firms. The mask is made from latex, so you might want to wash and air it out before use.

Carbon and zeolite filters:

Many air filters now come with a small activated carbon filter. These are completely ineffective, they are worthless in my opinion. It takes several pounds of carbon and zeolite to be effective.

Carbon filters alone are not effective against a lot of chemical compounds that we encounter indoors. Activated carbon filters are only effective for large molecules, and is best for gases with a high boiling point. A rule of thumb is that carbon filters poorly absorbs molecules with less than three atoms, besides hydrogen. This makes them unsuitable for ammonia (NH3), ethylene (C2H4), formaldehyde (CH2O) and acetylene (C2H2). (This information is borrowed from the book "Glent Klimateknik" by Ole Stampe, published by Glent & Co in Copenhagen, Denmark).
Zeolite filters are more effective against these compounds. Good filter systems use both. Again, it takes pounds of this to be effective.

Furnace filters:

Many hardware stores sell reusable furnace filters, which you can wash once a month. They are many times better than the flimsy $1.50 filters most people use. It will cost you about $35, but will last up to ten years. They even have do-it-yourself filters you can cut to fit odd size furnaces.
If your are chemically sensitive, you can purchase carbon filters to put in your furnace, they cost about $35 and last 4-6 months. See the company list.

Filters on registers:

In houses with forced-air heating/cooling, dust can collect in the air ducts, which is hard to remove. To catch the dust that does come loose, you can put a filter on each of the registers, at least in the bedroom. Some flimsy material to cut to size is sold by several companies. I use the "Holmes HEPA+" filter model HAPF-30 (made for a small table filter) and tape them over each register, works great.

WARNING: If you use a small heat pump, it may overheat. The filters restrict the airflow a bit, causing the coil to be hotter. If you notice the heat pump to have problems, take the filters off, or run it on emergency heat only. If the coil bursts, the freon will be coming out of the registers in the whole house, and you may suffocate!

standalone air cleaner:

The most common air cleaner is the standalone, that simply plugs into a wall outlet, and can be lugged from room to room. These air cleaners are great for cleaning the air in a single room, they have little effect on adjacent rooms.
Make sure to get one large enough for the room, it should be able to clean the room six times per hour. If your room is 20 feet by 12 feet and 7 feet tall, you have (20 x 12 x 7 = ) 1680 cubic feet. To clean it six times an hour, you will need a machine rated for at least 168 cubic feet per minute (1680 x 6 / 60). You will need one for each room.

Get one that is larger than you need, then you can run it at a lower speed, which both cuts down on noise and lets the motor live longer. One I have (a Honeywell) has been running for a couple of years and the bearings are worn a noisy. It helps that I put it upside down.

You can get air cleaners from several mail order companies as well as Kmart, Target and larger department stores and hardware stores. Look for those with the HEPA label, which guarantees the efficiency and longevity of the filter.
Watch out for labels claiming "HEPA-like" performance, the claims are not reliable, as they do not conform to a standard test.

If you have problems beyond dust and pollen, do not waste your money on any of the models you can presently buy in any store. They are simply not enough, even though they say they have carbon filters to 'remove odors'. It's a complete waste of your money. See here below for more information.

As a general rule, buy much larger than you think you need. If an air cleaner can do 250 cubic feet per minute, it's better to run it at a lower setting because of the noise, and the life of the machine. If you need 250 cfm, buy a 350 cfm machine instead. Also, you may need the extra capacity when there is trouble.

I used to live in this neighborhood too. The people are crazy. First of all, because we didn't trim our hedges to perfection, people would come and bother us about it. There were 3 of us in college and we were roommates. The people in that neighborhood are really anal, and YES they are racist, and to the person who is talking about Orlando having minority families, are you insane? It doesn't matter how many minority families there are there, there are more white people around and more white people in places like stores etc. This neighborhood is full of white people. One day, my friend came to visit me and he parked his car in my lawn. This lady came out of nowhere, banged on our door and began yelling at us like a crazy freak. She was so rude, my friend had to yell at her and tell her to leave. This same lady, goes around harassing people in the neighborhood. She harassed a neighbor of ours because the dog used the bathroom in her yard. At one point, she was mad at the neighbors behind her, and began dumping things in their yard. They called the police on her and the home owner's association told her to stop doing it. She didn't stop harassing those people and they finally had to leave the neighborhood. This neighborhood is whacked. It's a small neighborhood, and it's run like a boot camp. The people there are mostly retired people, college students, or families, but they're all really anal and really racist. I was once stopped in the neighborhood by a police. He claimed I didn't stop at the stop sign, which was a lie. I told him I did then he started grinning and saying well Christmas decorations have been stolen from the neighborhood and I'm like so why are you stopping me..just because I'm not white? He just grinned and said ohh I just want to know if you lived in the neighborhood. This place is full of racist people, that's nothing new. I have to agree with what Wade is saying. There are a great number of us in the US who are tired of hearing the "poor me I'm (fill in the minority) attitude of these folks. You do not reside in the City of Orlando that is if you were smart enough to enter a correct zipcode - You reside in a small community that is called Oviedo. Oviedo is an independent municipality and if you wish to slander a community, please have the respect to slander your own instead of lumping every little municipality under the main city.

As for your complaint, as of 10-1-03, Oviedo changed trash pick up companies. You can put your trash into a trashcan and take it down to the curb on your pick up days.

Creekwood is a trailer park community, so I can't imagine that your trash bins are all that far from your door, 20-40 feet at the most, I would assume.

Just ignore pegleg's comments---this is the kind of demented psychopath i'm filing a complaint about--someone with no conscience, no decency, no intelligence, and not a decent bone in it's body--just pure evil, idiocy, arrogance, and hypocrisy..when sub-human life forms like pegleg came into this world, hell lost a ring leader--people like this aren't fit to live in society they are from some other planet full of worthless cretins and i'm serious they are just pure gutter scum--you really wonder if they are even human, probably not..and why are it's comments still allowed when i read somewhere that they were supposed to be banned....well im not here to file a rebuttal against that rat, but another one.. just an update on this situation for my records... this low class loser the same day I posted the response the same low life loser came to my door, banged it really hard, and ripped off the notes I wrote. They took the two trash bags sitting out in my yard, and put them near my door again, and took the trash cans in the front of my house, and put them on the side of my house. I called the police and there isn't much they can do but I plan on taking action against this low life scum piece of crap loser who thinks he/she can come on people's yards and touch their property. This is vandalism and trespassing and once I find out who's doing this I will press charges against them...this person is obviously mentally ill and some kind of a lunatic (just like pegleg) and obsessed with my trash. There is one person in the neighborhood who has been a problem in the past for many people--she has caused people to leave, and has caused ppl to call the cops on her and it could be her. Either way we're still trying to find out who's doing this and once we do will get this person arrested...or at least handled by the police... and once again ... people like this and people like pegleg are just pure evil scum -- they don't even deserve to breathe--they are cold heartless worthless mentally deranged lunatics... all they do in this world is cause other people problems and take pride in being the devil's children...while people are on this board seeking revenge, justice, and looking for a place to vent, there are evil malicious psychopathic lunatics like pegleg allowed here who distract people from being able to get the rightful justice they deserve, and this just isn't right. Ripoff report really needs to do something about filtering the rebuttals that people place --- I thought this was a place for people to get justice.. not a place for people to have to deal with more corrupt malicious obnoxious brainless jerks like the one's they're complainign about...I hope you're reading this ripoff report because in order to have a successful forum you need to get rid of the obvious instigators and troublemakers who are only here to cause people problems and more havoc....this isn't right and the drama doesn't help anyone except the devils like pegleg who have no life and feed off other people's negative experiences.... After several other meaningless, ranting posts about "Joanne at Mr. B's Salon" and "Chick-Fil-A," it appears that Miss Anonymous Female, or Rach, or whatever she cares to call herself today, strikes again.

I find this complaint quite amusing ... it gave me quite a hearty chuckle. This "young minority female" references "white trash" throughout her post .... but apparently does not know that of which she speaks.

It is hilarious that this "young minority female" cannot understand why others find it inappropriate that she routinely throws her trash in the middle of her lawn. She believes that anyone who disagrees with her piggish behavior is "racist." Unfortunately, she cannot see the truth through her thick, heavily braided fake hair extensions to understand that perhaps people do not enjoy living in a toilet bowl.

Here is my consumer suggestion to you, "miss anonymous female" .... if you believe that your oh-so-horrible allergies have anything at all to do with your inability to place your trash in a trashbin like a normal human being, then you are long overdue for a second opinion and diagnosis on the type of illness from which you so greatly suffer. It is clear that never once did it strike you that other people do not enjoy living in the virtual toilet bowl that you proudly call home. How you deduce this common fact to mean that everyone is "racist," I have no idea. If you do truly feel that way, however, perhaps you should do your "poor little minority female" race a favor and start portraying your race in a better light, by doing something positive rather than spewing your trash all over your yard for public viewing.

By the way, aren't you even the least bit embarrassed that your neighbors had to go so far as to report your disgusting behavior to the Home Owners Association? The fact that you live in a trailer park, where normally anything goes, only makes it known that this situation is far worse and more disgusting than anyone can possibly imagine.
