Merchants- do not sign on with Crescent or you will be sorry. I signed an agreement with fees up front, and then afterwards, they provide their "Terms & Conditions" over and above. I am not signatory to the latter, but I'm sure they will insist the terms are "subject to change without notice" and "ex post facto." However, they still charged fees that are not described in their subsequent "Terms." Coming out of Dallas, I should have known better; they're probably owned by the Bush family or a subsidiary of Brown & Root.

I have in print, my estimation of $1000 AVERAGE monthly charges on the application. They accepted that, and now charge an extra $19.95 for falling below their minimum monthly charge of $1200. Nowhere at all does that show up in writing.

There was a "one time" processing fee of $60, and that was it, supposedly. In their documentation, there is a $98 "corporation" fee, with no terms stipulated as to if, how or when that might be applied. There were no terms attached to that undescribed charge, like soooo many other vague, ambiguous charges. Come to find out, that is an ANNUAL fee; a GOTCHA!

There was no "minimum term" ,so you can terminate at anytime. I discussed that in depth before signing. RIGHT? There is a De-Conversion Fee of $495. What does that mean? What is De-Conversion? De-Conversion is a double negative, or double talk. Does it mean they'll suck $495 out of your bank account when you decide to terminate the contract? You'd better close your bank account like I did.

Countrywide, Enron, Bernard Madoff, Halliburton... they're all in the same category of scam artists. I knew a guy that served 3 days in jail forlifting a $1.98 pen; and now they giveaway billions to the biggest con artists as a rewardfor dirty deeds. Companies like Crescent will be praised for their cunning business ripoff work, instead of prosecuted by their Attorney Generals.

Crescent Processing Company Really Helped Me!

AUTHOR: Shelley - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, July 17, 2009

I am a new customer with Crescent Processing Company. I recently received my first statement from them and I was shocked! the money that I was supposed to be saving by switching from my other merchant company was far from what I paid in this first month. I called the agent that set up my account and she was useless! I called customer service and I didn't get the help that I needed. Frustrated, I went on the Internet to see if there were any complaints regarding this company and stumbled upon Ripoff Report.

I found a complaint similar to mine and notice that the rebuttal was from a CPC rep. He left an email address, so that he could help this other customer. I jotted down the email address and sent an email to him with my complaints.

Scott emailed me back after he spoke with Janet Fuller telling me that I should expect a call from her shortly. Janet called me and helped me correct the costly problems. I am very happy with this company they really seem to care about their customers. I will recommend this company to other small businesses in my area.

We too had issues with the corporate fee of $98.00 anually and then the $79.00 Card Data Security fee. We are 4 small accounts and the extra fees were not good for our personal accounts. I have to admit that when we called customer service on a few occasions, we had the misfortune of connecting with a couple of different robot like people, who seemed to not care. I was browsing the net about Crescent Processing and came across the report # 410643, and on a whim emailed Scott, sstauffer@crescentprocessing.com and WOW! Things got done. He put me in touch with the right person who bent over backwards for us. All of our issues were settled in an extremely satisifactory way. Better then we thought possible. It was just a matter of reaching the right person. I take it all back. Great company. They really are willing to work with you.

Sincerely, the girls at the Hair Doctors

WILLING TO WORK WITH YOU

AUTHOR: Jlp - (U.S.A.)

To Whom It May Concern:

I read your post with great interest and unltimatley with great dissapointment. There a number of inaccuracies in your accusations and a number of statements that simply are not true. Crescent Processing Company goes to great lengths to provide very value added services at the most fair and competitive pricing available. Busniess ethics are very important to us and we go to great lenghths to ensure that we follow the most ethical practices.

I would very much like to speak with you regarding your claims, however, you did not list your name or contact information in your post and our internal search reults show no merchants fitting your profile that exist in our merchant base. I do hope that you are a legitimate merchant.

I am willing to discuss your concerns one on one. My email address is listed below and I invite you to email me so that we can discuss directly by phone. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Regards,

Scott
