free equpment joke no residual is a joke..

AUTHOR: mark - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, August 27, 2012

This job is a joke!! People wake up they dont pay residual on any account.. They target people that have never been in the industry. People get in the industry to live off there residual income and build a huge porfolio. Crescent just throws a max 341 at you and says this account is mine. That is a joke in general. There computer laptop is a old dell that is not worth 300.00 and only comes with propitory information of the company. The laptop is useless otherwise. Anyone that gets in the industry stay away from companys like these that say we keep your residual and you just get quick up front money.. First off companys pay on approval and activation.. They pay on activation only. No wonder they make a killing of there employees in the field.

The Truth about Crescent

AUTHOR: Tony - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, February 28, 2009

I am tired of hearing about weak sales guys bad mouthing Crescent. I am a sales agent and have been involved with sales off and on for about 15 years. My mainstream is real estate. But, I have to say, Crescent does not rip anyone off! They are paying a commision to the sales agent and giving a 500 to 800 dollar piece of equipment to a merchant without making a dime. They, in 100% of my cases have lowered the merchants monthly fees anywhere from 10 to 60%.

There is no way that crescent can recover this money in fees unless the merchant stays with crescent for at least 4 years, thats why they ask for a 4 year contract. Not only that, They will lower the contract in some cases to 1 year if it looks like there might be a client wiliiing to jump aboard and that is the only thing from preventing us to do business is that term.

As far as getting paid, they are the best. If you were to stay on long enough, you would know that. What happens, once a merchant signs up and the equipment is shipped to them, they will plug it in and activate there account. Thats it. You get paid at that time and the monies are put into your checking account that day via ach, If it before 3:00 pm and the next day if after 3:00 pm. This whole process only takes about 3 to 4 days to complete. After you get rolling you will see that the accounts start catching up to you and you have constant deposits being put into your account. This takes just 1 month of strong sales.

If you understand anything about sales you would know these are what I would consider luke warm leads, but they are confirmed and you will have to sell them, but remember your giving something away and not asking for 1 dime when you walk out the door.

Understand, this type of sales job is not for the weak and complaining. If you like to get out early, meet people and sell yourself this can be a very rewarding situation.

As far as the labtop, the company sends you a used labtop and takes 25 out of your first 12 sales. If you leave the company, in your sales agent agreement, it says they will refund this amount in full. I have not had to return it, so I cannot speak on behalf of what occurs as far as time frame on getting the deposit back.

The other amount that I get charge from crescent is a sales support amount of 39 a month. This comes out of your first commision of each month. If you do at least 14 sales a month this amount is refunded back to you at the end of the month. I do question this amount at times, but I do believe it is fair because there support team is there for me at every moment needed to answer any and all questions that a merchant may have. In general I been doing about 3 to 5 a week, so I can usually make my quota. But, I can see how this can be negative when you are just started. Also, if you do 16 to 20 sales a month there are bonuses of 275 and 475 added to your commisions.

In closing, understand that there are other guys and gals out there trying to make a living. These lies do not benefit anyone including yourself. If your unhappy move on and find something that makes you happy or go listen to a Zig Ziggler tape you might learn something you think you already know. CHOW.

Independent Sales Agent

AUTHOR: Bonnie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, June 26, 2008

I have worked for Crescent Processing for a year now, and this ripoff report is totally inaccurate. I have gotten appointments (leads) almost every day, and although not every one is good, a sizeable number are. My laptop deposit was $300, and if you return the laptop, you are refunded the money on Friday of the week following its receipt by the company (I did it once). My commissions are automatically deposited evey Friday without fail.

The person complaining about Crescent Processing Company doesn't have his facts correct.

AUTHOR: Rob N - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, March 18, 2008

For starters the laptop computer given is a late model Dell computer which is more than capable of doing the job. The deposit that the field reps have to pay is only $300.00 not $800.00 and they will refund you 100% when the laptop is return in a timely manner. I'm a sales rep just like this person and I view things completely different from this person. We are provided with quality leads for free which is a lot more that most companies would do for you. The company has many safe guards in check make sure that they are operating on a fair and level playing field with their sales reps as well as customers.

This is a sales job, no one gives you anything, you have to work your accounts and your paid fairly for performance. Anyone can be an order taker, but sales takes a real effort and it appears the person complaining fails to understand that concept.

Too company to believe

AUTHOR: Reporter33 - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, November 29, 2007

After reading that sugar-coated, obviously contrived response I can only assume that comment came from a non-sales employee that is trying to save the reputation of the company. I too worked there, and I should have known it was less than ideal when I was offered a job immediately.

Leads are burnouts and customer is usually surprised to see you.
Sale techniques taught are high pressure and manipulative.
You are encouraged to stretch the truth and if they won't buy, you have to turn them over to a closer on the telephone for one last forceful try.
I couldn't in good conscience continue to work for them.
The same stuff they pull at Vericomm.

Rebutting Busted

AUTHOR: Truthserum - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, October 04, 2007

I have found Crescent Processing Co. to be true to their word. As an outside sales agent, I have had plenty of appointments, sometimes more than I can even get to. I have been paid accurately and on time, every time. I am given a regular update on the status of the accounts I have sold so I know if there will be a delay in getting paid. That allows me a chance to resolve any issues to get the clients' accounts activated.

Prospective clients are almost always ready for me when I get to the appointments. Some do forget, but not often. "BUSTED" wrote that CPC cheats and lies to their customers but he/she did not give an example of just how CPC does that.

Nobody's perfect and I doubt CPC is either, but I have never had a bad experience. Yes, we do need the laptop they supply but we only pay $25 a week and we get that back if we leave. The commissions are clearly stated, the quality of the appointments are excellent and give me plenty of opportunities to attain clients. I honestly don't know if CPC fires their agents for complaining because I have never had reason to complain.

What's to complain about? I go to an appointment, the client is expecting me, I show them a short presentation, I give them FREE EQUIPMENT and lower their fees to boot. How hard can that be? Last week I saved a business over $100 a month! WOW!
