People,

Do not use Cricket for your cell phone service. I purchased a phone for my 14 yr. old son.  Mostly for emergencies but he had to have the smart phone with all the bells and whistles.  $250 down.  Now the girl says we get a discount if I would add my line to the plan.  OK. I cancelled my service with my current provider and signed up.  2 days later....no service. I tried to call customer service....there is none with Cricket. I had to drive 1/2 hour to the store to figure out the problem.  Guess what.......they made a mistake....the latinas in the store could barely hold a conversation, much less get my phone up and running.  Turns out they set the account up under my 14 year old.  Since he doesn't remember the passcode they gave him, and.....since I don't know what that is.. THEY CAN'T HELP ME. I run most of my business over my cellphone.  I paid $106 for unlimited service on both of our phones, 2 days ago.  Oddly, I was trying to make a phone call this afternoon and was told by the automated operator...."sorry, you don't have enough minutes in your plan to complete this call". Guess what??  We can't help you unless you drive to our store.......drove there.......no password. WE CAN'T HELP YOU????  In a fit of anger by me, the store manager threatened me that she was going to call the police.  I'm 54 yrs. old and have been a VP of Sales in very large Corporations in my career.  If I had this level of service from my people, they would be immediately fired.  I think Cricket has this business model intentionally.  They could care less if their customers have issues or not.  They are completely invisible.  Try to Google them and find someone in authority to speak with.  There is none.  That should tell you something.  Because all funds are non-refundable......you could make millions on being a sleaze bag company like this and not have to deal with the expense of providing ANY kind of service to your customers.  I've never seen a Corporate culture that fosters such contempt for their own customers.  I can only hope that my post will wake up potential customers of this company.  PLEASE before you get involved with these creeps pay a little more per month for your service. I promisenyou'll be glad you did.
