#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds
They DO honor the rebate....

First of all, I'm sorry for the trouble with your rebate. It's something that is sort of common with rebate offers. Let me assure you that the rebates are REAL.
As for information on the rebate, check Cricket's website at this address:
https://www.web-rebates.com/mycricket/checklist.asp
That gives a run-down of what to do with the rebate forms. You *MUST* follow it exactly or you may get "burned".
What I would suggest is that you contact Customer Service at 1-800-CRICKET (or 611 SEND from your Cricket phone). Ask them to escalate the rebate issue internally. Also, they'll give you the rebate # which is 1-888-326-6178. Ask to speak to a supervisor regarding the issue. If you have any paperwork (I hope you made copies), you'll probably need to fax them to their office (I don't know their fax #) and/or send the copies in the mail.
One word of advice: make sure you stay *calm* through all of this. It may be upsetting, but it's not something that cannot be fixed and corrected.
The representatives and supervisors are MUCH more willing to work with someone who stays calm and doesn't raise their voice rather than someone who yells, cusses, and swears at them. Moreover, they have EVERY right to disconnect a call if you begin to cuss and swear.
