Okay, i thought it was suspicious, but my husband called just to see what was going on. They told him he would recieve free magazine subscriptions, free country-wide vacations WITH paid hotel stays, and one million dollars. My husband asked the lady how they got his info, and why this was happening to him, and she said he used his debit/credit card @ a hotel, and they saw his "record" and that he was a good-standing customer, but they would not give him specific details about where they got their information, or how they managed to "pick him." Then they started asking him about his debit card info, and what type it was. They said it would cost $4.25 to ship him a certificate which states he is the winner. He pretended to be in the car and "couldn't find his debit card" and he said he would call them back when he got home, and give them the info. He got off the phone, and we looked this scam up. What on earth would've happened if we gave them our banking information??? I bet they would've drained the bank account. We have not called them back & don't plan on it, but now i am worried they are going to start calling us all the time, since they have our contact info. If they continue to send us letters, we are just going to write "return to sender" on the envelope. =)
