Cronauer Law Center Loan Modification Fraud Washington, District of Columbia

I contacted Cronauer Law Center as advertised on CNN as Loan Modification Experts on 042412. Was Pre-Qualified by an Assistant and then told he would forward my financial information to their Underwriting Dept. for further review. Recieved a call back on 042412 and was told that I qualified on three levels: Debt to Income Ratio, Predatory Lending and Owning more on my home than current market value. Was told Cronauer Law Center had a 97% approval rate with my mortgage company and the cost would be $3,000 payable in two $1500 installments. Was also told modification with my mortgage was usually completed with 30 days. At the time I was current on my mortgage and was told this was not a problem.

I have requested written verification that the modification has been submitted but have yet received anything.  I have made numerous phone calls all of which go to a voice mail stating I will receive a call back with the next business day.  Finally, received a call back on 052812 (Memorial Day) leaving a voice mail to call them as soon as possible.  I did so within minutes, but id not reach anyone.  I called again on 052912 spoke with Daniel and was told my modicification has been denied because I had sufficient income (no calculations provided by the mortgage company) to make the mortgage payments. This after the last $1500 installment had been debited from my account. They have indicated they will be submitting another modification request and that I should not worry because it was to the mortgage company's benefit to deny it the first time.
