To the general Public and for financial safety , for rental property owners , and apartment rental units companies private and public in and around the VIC of Florida / Georgia ...... Please do your homework with these two Individuals Before you rent to them DO NOT RENT TO THESE PEOPLE !!!!!!!!!
( Crystal L Hampton (Daughter) 38 yrs old and Martha K Bauer (Mother) 57 Yrs old 
 They at first act like the best people in the world , they use god in their lives as a ploy to their goodness as honest and honorable people , But they are just scamming and cheating from the start .
 They will claim and accept all help offered and agree to pay you back , But beware they will not . Crystal Hampton has 2 children  , one of the children has autism , and unfortunately children do suffer due to their mom crystals inability to cope with reality , and with her claim to Depressive episodes , ( shes Just an alcoholic though ) who loves her wine , and uses her children as a crutch where she can ( very sad ) And The Grandmother of the 2  kids is a deceptive old lady who Drives around in a mini van just collects a government check who mostly supports them all , But only for a breif  time, till they can obtain a cash savings  , then they con and cheat anyone they can when a few bucks are obtained .

They use the children and their health as excuses when they can , Like asemia , a very serious case , but Crystal and Martha have had a cat / Kitten in their rentals , Also its known that the vehicle they drive was baught and paid off by their former landlord in good faith

They promissed to pay back in writeing the total amount . And this ended up a total falsehood , They used the distress of not having a vehicle ( poor children ( etc., then they borrowed cash to pay it off with promise , because they couldnt afford original payment and car was going to be taken from them ,
but they just abused the good nature of the people around them  that felt awful for their situation. 

If anyone comes in contact with these two respond here , as they are financially dangerous to Honest and honorable Landlords , individuals who provide a vital service to all comunitys for housing. ( and much needed housing at that ) and who knows who elce they cheated ( Power co , utility co, cable co , phone co . ) This all affects the tax payer and honest workin man as fees and charges keep rising due to these type criminals ....................More to come !!!!!!!!

Clarifying Loan Payback

 Unlike Mr. Robert Ross, I have the documentation to prove that we paid our rent every month, including the extra $100 a month to go towards the laon payback. We initially paid $1300 a month instead of the actual rent cost of $1200 in proceed to pay the loan back. We paid $1300 a month for ten months, which paid off the loan of $1000 from Mr. Ross.  He also was able to keep the whole deposit for any damages that occurred to the dwelling.

 If any one would like to pull up the police reports of the shooting that occured in front the house on Northwestern Ave., feel free to do so by searching under the Seminole County Sheriffs Department. It is all documented.

 So, with this being said, I cannot understand how he is falsely accusing us of all this. The slander of my minor children here is what really upsets me! I believe this is illegal and I will seek advice from my attorney on slander and defamation of character here.

Mr. Robert Ross is a liar!

 When we initially moved in his house, he told us the same story he is claiming here about the two previous tenants. He told us that they abandoned the property and owed him money. Just like he is falsely claiming here.

 I think the real story is this, when you move in his house, he doesn't want you to move out because it keeps him from collecting rent money in New Jersey where he really resides, by the way.

Using Wrong Address

 I have noticed that Mr. Ross is using my previous address before him in Winter Park, Fl. This is WRONG! Mr. Ross, your house on Northwestern Ave in Altamonte Springs, does NOT even compare to the niceness of my previous house in Winter Park. It is against the law for you to even do this! My previous landlord has nothing to do with your devious tactics that you have taken because we did not stay in your house.

I think that you need to get your story and facts straight when you wrongly attack people. Your story would be more believeable if you used your real name and address of the run down dwelling that you are renting out.

Promises not made good? Not by us, but by you, Mr. Robert Ross (His real Name).

You made promises to fix the broken bathroom in the master bathroom that was never done. You made promises to fix the fence in the backyard, to keep trespassers out in this rough neighborhood, that you never fixed. You made promises to fix the sliding glass door that anyone could have lifted off the track to break in the house, but you didn't.

I have said enough to stand my ground against false accusations to the public from a man who will use minor children's names, but not use his real name to the public here.

Who is really the fraud???

Not The Whole Truth, My Side Of The Story

 We are NOT deadbeats, frauds, cheats, nor liars!

Yes, I am a single mother and my mother was helping me take care of the kids while I worked to keep our bills paid EVERY month for the 13 months that we were there!

If anyone was cheated, it was my family and I!  We paid overpriced rent in a low income, gang neighborhood where there was a shooting in my front yard!  We were awaken by the sheriffs office at 3 a.m. with our front yard surrounded by crime tape and our house on the evening news because of this shooting. Then, on my way home from work the very next afternoon, the front of my neighborhood was blocked off in crime scene tape due to another shootout! Then the neighborhood was gang tagged!   So, I'm sure many here see why I needed to get my kids out of this house! 

We do not fraud anyone. Like I said, how could we remain in the dwelling for 13 months if we didn't pay our rent and electricity???

Again, to drag innocent children into this conversation, shows your true character, Mr. Buffalo.

Only a selfish, careless person would want children to remain living in conditions that were dangerous and unfit~

Not The Whole Truth

 Hi there,

I am indeed the Crystal Hampton, that is being referred to.

This post is only telling Mr. Buffalo's side of the story, to make his self look good.

When I had to choose this rental out of desperation, and it was not in liveable conditions whatsoever. The unit was still filthy from the previous tenant. The walls were not painted. The carpets were filthy, ripped, stained and rolling up at the doorways because there were no thresholds. The sliding glass door was broke. The fencing in the backyard was falling down and we had a big eyesoar of a live electric box in the backyard where my children played. The place was also full of roaches, which we did not find till after our stuff was unpacked. I will give Mr. Buffalo credit for taking care of that. I do not steal from people and mental issues should not be broadcasted here. My children are very loved and have been very well taken care of! 

We had told Mr. Buffalo that we were moving when our year lease was up January of 2012. He kept trying to get us to saty in the house. He also told me that I signed a new lease, which I did not. So, why would he want liars, thieves, and cheater)s as he referred to us to stay in his dwelling??

We did not steal anything from him when we moved. He proceeded to call and harass me and threaten me with DCF about my children over us moving. We did make payments back to him for the small loan for our van, which was almost paid off.

Our deposit (that we never asked back) more than covered that. We paid a pretty high amount in rent for the old, dirty house.

I am not here to drag anyone in the dirt, but I will stand up for my family and I when we are falsely accused of such behavior.

We paid all of our bills, incl. rent, electric, phone, cable, etc. Which Mr. Buffalo has also falsely accused us of not doing.

We couldn't have stayed there for 13 MONTHS if we hadn't paid our bills!

I think Mr. Buffalo's post, dragging innocent children in the dirt, proves the kind of person he is when he doesn't get his way.  I really don't appreciate my minor children's business being broadcasted on the internet in this way without my consent.  I will take action, concerning them,  if this is not removed immediately!

Dead beat tenants , cheats , lies , frauds

Martha Bauer , ( mom ) and Crystal Lynn Hampton ( welz ) have ties from the areas of Satsuma , Middleburg , orlando , Greencove springs , polatka , winter springs florida areas .

They are known to flee ,abandon , and steal Items from rentals / if any are available to them , They Have periodic issues and they use fraud tactics to receive benefits from wherever they can , ( exhusbands included ) using children and their ailments as well ( 2 kids ) Steven / Treavor and the yunger has the Autisim .

Anyone can be fooled by them , a landlord or Employer as well . Recent employment (2012) was for an independent radio anouncer in orlando florida , ( Ray ) political news and comments ... ( probably screwed him outa cash too )

Promises are never made good , and they are the type people that anyone would or could feel bad for to do a favor or give a chance ( But dont fall prey ) they are believed to be sitting time out with Family in north florida for now ( and maybe crystal still with problems in seminole county with drug / alchol issues )

Martha gets  a possible pension check monthly and maybe SS ck , for cash along with child support as income ------ Beware of these two ...... or watch out if they go their own seperate way ..Soon ..... they may need a job or rental a place soon ....

Dear mr Buffalo , As everything you posted in response to the original Post , is correct technically you should hold judgement as you didn't get what the post was intended for !

First I'm not in the Landlord business ! yet !
And this / its not text book landlord 101 where it was just cut and dry , like that ! 
All the little details were not put up , Just the general info , so of course your assessment is quite off , due to lack of info ( not your fault ) but you should have read it a little closer and with an open mind ......

 There was a check done , of course , the results were definitely not perfect from what I understand , but not worthy of denial of a rental at that time this check was done , Positive referrals were received as well at that time also ( nothings ever perfect though , no guarantees).

Also I might add , that although you again were correct where you have the right to review applications prior to written lease agreement , there are very few with perfect credit and some criminal background checks are not 100 percent or up to Date either , depending where you are looking.

So I dont think a sucessfull business venture in the landlord area would be to look for someone with perfect credit , in todays economy especially ,  everyone has some sort of bad credit mark or negative on them for some reason , especially if there still renting in that age bracket ( nature of the landlord business ) many renters have also been forced into situation , out of their control ( employers close down out of business , down size ,etc .( some good reliable and responsible people too.) Unfortunate !!!

You would be a poor landlord if you didn't rent your rental , and would be out of the landlord business for inability to rent your unit anyway if you only looked for the perfect renter ( it Dont exist ) everyone has an issue one time or another somewhere someway and thats what makes us all human ( Imperfect )  Landlord business or not !!!!

There are those with perfect credit somewhere , but not here ! And As in any business there are risks , and sometimes you do well and other times not so well with regard to choice and risk , but if you wait for the perfect renter you would have empty units more often than not and be out of business anyway !

I also agree that landlords are not in the loan business , but have to disagree where you claim you cannot be a personable landlord / friend - as has been my personal experience with my landlords , they have been mostly caring and understanding , and that also helped their landlord business going forward.
As I personally would not ever intentionally cheat landlords , or anyone  , we have been lucky to have had each other in those certain times , and  others feel the same , I have in the past  found that a few individuals needed assistance to get on their feet ( loan ) and the Landlord ( took a chance of course ) Made a business decision / risk as in any other , maybe its not written in the landlord handbook , and shouldn't be done  , to stay away from being  ("ripe for the picking") 
But it seemed to make his profession of landlord more sucessfull in ( his ) personal landlord business.

Siblings of past renters would then be sent to rent from him with the positive mentions he was an understanding person / and personable businessman and landlord.
Also the assistance I provided in doing certain repairs were appreciated from his end as well , as I'm sure thats a no no in the landlord book of wrongs as well , but worked out well in my experience ....
Not to say you are incorrect in your statements , but to each there own , just there are other ways than just  , hardcore as you put it ! Although some may only understand threats , and Hard core landlord I guess . I know a few Judges who would put it that way as well ...
Personally I would rather , it be Just the way you put it ( cut and Dry ) but it doesn't ever seem to work out either way ,100 percent . so be as it may .....

There are other landlords who pay , for this info , on other web sites , and if they check will also find the two named above listed at some point as poor tenants , and their credit will be tarnished as well But its also listed here , now !!!!  so everyone  , Landlord and tenant ,business , friend Neighbor , and you too Buffalo alike can also see and share the information.
Not every landlord is a pro , and although you can say "get out of the business of landlord " to most , some are just passing time and renting their home , unit , property for a while till when they decide to sell or live in it later on ( Many reasons ) some dont even know how to review or get background checks ,  they may not be able to afford costs affiliated with all that legal judgement and claim stuff , eviction process ,  etc.. ( I'm Just saying )  But their services are well appreciated offering their rentals to needy families and is commendible to that point. 

But I have found it comforting to be able to inform the public of yet another fraud that may be avoided or caught in time that others are not hurt.
That was the Intent of the post , and your landlord words of wisdom are posted and observed as well. 
Very direct and informative to prospective landlords , Me I wouldn't mind the landlord business , I figure there are probably more good apples than bad but sometimes there is just no avoiding the worm , unless you just dont eat the apple ....No risk no gain no loss !

Get out of the landlord business.

I suggest you get out of the landlord business.  That's right, it's a business and it doesn't appear to me that you're suitable for it.

The tenant/landlord relationship is a business relationship-not a personal relationship.  The landlord provides a safe, habitable residence and the tenant pays rent.  Anything beyond this is a poor business practice that leaves the landlord ripe for the plucking.  A landlord is not a social services agency.

No landlord should ever give loans to a tenant-you're a landlord, not a money lender.  Additionally, a landlord needs to perform tenant screening (credit and criminal checks) before offering a written lease.  If a prospective tenant has recent credit issues or criminal convictions, choose another prospective tenant.
