ctu colorado technology university they accepted a diploma mill diploma and now i am left with the loan payment sioux springs, Colorado

Ctu did not review all the paper work and accepted me into the college. I was a victim of a diploma mill. They accepted me and now I am responable for the financial aid. I had to drop out after one course due to medical issues. Upon trying to return they refused me and said I was part of a diploma mill. I feel like since they accepted me without review the neccasary information there should be held responisable for that payment not me. I want to know if I got a lawsuit here? Just for the payment of the finacial aid no more..
