I don't see my post from yesterday so I'm submitting it again... like the lady in Knoxville, I signed with Curves (2 yrs), came to the end of my contract & they continued to withdraw fees from my checking account. It was 5 months before I realized what was going on. I got the same line when I called to question this practice: "You have to put it in writing & drop it off... " & "everybody thinks the contract ends automatically... ". Imagine that! I had wondered how they got along with so few members & now I know; they simply continue to charge former members erroneous fees long after they've stopped going. REALLY CRAPPY BUSINESS PRACTICE! I would like to say thank you to the one who posted suggestions on how to get your money back. I'll be contacting my bank about this today. Thanks again.
