Custom Pools Inc. - Jack Anderson Failure to fullfill contract by not closing pool and installing pool cover as stated in signed contract. Belleville Illinois

In April 2008 a contract was signed between us and Custom Pools, Inc. of Belleville, IL to install an inground pool. Included in our contract was the ordering of the pool kit/pump, installation, pouring of a 4 foot deck around the the pool, pool cleaner, safety pool cover, closing of the pool at the end of the 2008 pool season and opening of the pool at the beginning of the 2009 pool season. It was also stated that the pool company needed a 30 day notice to close the pool. We notified the company at the beginning of September that we were ready.

Our pool was not completed until approximately June 30, 2008. At that time the final payment was made on the pool. It is now the middle of November 2008 and we still do not have our safety cover and the pool closed.

Mr. Anderson, who owns the company, clearly does not know how to run a business and has mastered the art of deception and evading his customers as well as stealing from them. When our final payment was made to Mr. Anderson, it was with the understanding that when the safety pool cover comes in and our 30 day notice was given, he would fullfill his portion of the contract by performing the closing and putting on the safety cover on the pool for winter.

We caution anyone who is considering using this company to think twice and do not use them. This man needs to be put out of business for good. We have since found out, after the fact, Mr. Anderson is very deceptive and has a habit of repeatedly going bankrupt and changing the name of his company therefore, conning more innocent people out of their hard earned money.

Very close attention needs to be made in association with his name, Jack Anderson, as he also runs a concrete company, snow removal business and large parking lot cleaning service.
