I only worked there for a day, and realized that this is totally a scam. Soon as you see the woburn office theres a giant patriots helmet painted on the wall. And red sox and bruins pictures everywhere. Thats just his way of making the office and job look cool and promising. They don't do s**t with any of those teams. NOTHING to do with sports. On the observation day, theres about 12 others, so Dave says there only going to offer the job to 1, maybe 2, and 3 maximum. I talked to some others there, there were some d**n good candidates, some had graduate MBA degrees and were totally outgoing and good sales people. Apparently I was chosen as the one to get the job. They said i was chosen out of 25 other candidates.

This is the best part, now i realized that the really outgoing and fun loving guy was not a real candidate, he was most likely a prop, and the graduate degree girl was also a prop. I say this because I noticed the guy in the morning was talking to the staff on a personal level and was way to comfortable, he was walking around the office like he knew the place. He was supposed to be interviewing for the job, every one else was so nervous and tense. Also at the end of the observation day him and the graduate candidate were there talking about how much fun they had. I never had so much fun in a day. These were the two i was sure would end up getting the job. They put them in to show that you got hired because your so special and better than the other candidates.

Showed up the next morning, and I saw two others there from yesterday who I thought would never have gotten the job. They actually hire the most gullible people who they convinced were going to make fast progress into management. They called the position management trainee and kept telling you there not looking to hire salesmen, and that there hiring to train future managers. Dave says he became a manager in only a matter of months. And says he thinks I could do the same. They keep telling you they think your excellent and so far they see a great potential. They just make you feel more confident so you can stay longer and work hard to sell more stuff.

They don't really explain how you get paid. On the interview if you ask about how the compensation works, they give you a run around and say you can make a 6 figure income in just 6 months. Basically after working your a*s off selling s**t all day for a month you can become a leader. Which just gets your ego up, because you still get paid the same and your doing far more work. That just means they want you to now train others to go out and sell useless stuff. Soon as you ask how much do I get paid in a week. They just answer by saying it dose not matter what you get paid this week, just keep working hard and in just 6-9 months your gonna be getting a management position making over 100,000 a year. You get paid 80 dollars in cash at the end of the day to work for 10 hours. And by work I mean, running around the city all day selling worthless junk to people. They just keep telling you how good you did and how much better you can become.

Its true that theres some nice and cool people to work with, but also i realized almost none of them went to college. And I did get a bachelors degree, so I feel like these people cant find real management jobs because they don't have the degree. They all have high dreams. All they talked about was how greedy they are and how they cant wait to become managers and get 6 figure salaries. There paying you 8 bucks an hour to be their b***h. It has nothing to do with sports marketing or management at all. Just door to door sales. Don't get tricked like I did. I ended up spending more money than I made.
