At noon on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, I was approached by Ryder (Storm) who informed me that he was a college students (yeah, right!) and he was trying to earn contest points. He stated the company that we was working for and that if I purchased magazine subscriptions from him it would earn him the proper points. I decided to purchase one subscription at $63 (I thought to myself, that's a bit pricey!). He informed me that some of the proceeds would go to a charity of my choice.

After the encounter I proceeded to talk to some of my neighbors he approached and went online to find out information about D2D. To my surprised I came across this Ripoff Report and saw others who have filed reports against them. I immediately called my bank and cancelled my check. There was no activity on my account (nationally or locally). I had also called the police department and found out that there were other complaints.

Our neighborhoods should not be the target of these con artists. We need to feel safe in our own homes. They need to be stopped!
